ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I think I did one IPC update 2 days ago but nothing else has popped up other than those 2 modules. Currently have the battery disconnected and going to delete the VIN in FDRS and see if that pulls any new modules for me. Otherwise I may be stuck here?

Disconnected the battery, deleted the VIN in FDRS. And still only 2 options here. They both said run instead of download, but I downloaded the PSCM update before taking the photo.

I would message @Jesse-Infotainment and set something up with him to help you get the IPC updated. Sometimes it can be done with a USB and then side-load the rest with FORScan which would be great, but if the entire IPC needs to be side-loaded, tit will take 6 hours. Getting the IPC updated is imperative. This has happened to many people and Jesse has helped them all.

That’s a bummer, was hoping FDRS would get me through all of this. We have Forscan here but not sure where to start with side loading the IPC update through that.

Continuing updates today. Now on APIM revision 1049, only updates available are ACM, and PSCM. I ran PSCM 3-4 times over and am out test driving and still no lane centering assist available.. guess I need to continue updating PSCM? Frustrating that you can’t see the versions in the update history for that module.

Those two updates are known not to clear off FDRS. I had the ACM on mine for over 3 years...lol

Interesting, I guess I will just have to wait for Jesse's intervention to finish the last updates. No other updates other than the 2 pictured above and IPC / IPMA are still in need of updating as lane centering assist / BC does not function. Everything else is great though.

IPMA is updated. Your IPC software and doesn't contain the animations for BC, so it can't work. All you need is the IPC.

I was able to PMI the failed interface with the Mongoose. Amazon for the win on the overnight delivery. Ok ... Ok ... I'm now a believer in the cult of the Mongoose.

It doesn't cost what it costs because of its looks. We've seen it happen 100 times here on the forums.

IPMA is updated. Your IPC software and doesn't contain the animations for BC, so it can't work. All you need is the IPC.

No, that would not work in this case.

I signed up for the two day FDRS license however it is not allowing me to login.

when I run the network diagnostics it shows I have an Internet connection and can hit the license server but the FDSP connection and the login server connection both fail.

You’re trying to log into the wrong server. Use independent operator/non-dealer, not non-dealer ETIS.

I tried logging in that way as well and it allows the login but goes back and says failed to connect to server
