And I am hoping I’m wrong, by the way, best of luckThat was my first thought. Something happened to it while in route to the dealer.
When photos, taken from inside the truck, with the headliner removed, where seen by engineers in Dearborn, they claimed it should have never left the plant like that.If it was damaged in shipping, it's technically not the dealer's yet. That's what happened to mine.
Ford dictated when and where it could be taken to be re-painted.
There was a weld, dealer body guy suspected it was there as an attempt to mend the mounting flange where it was likely damaged when the original windshield was removed.
With the windshield out, you could see where the windshield was not making contact with the flange.
