That was my first thought. Something happened to it while in route to the dealer.
And I am hoping I’m wrong, by the way, best of luck

If it was damaged in shipping, it's technically not the dealer's yet. That's what happened to mine.

Ford dictated when and where it could be taken to be re-painted.
When photos, taken from inside the truck, with the headliner removed, where seen by engineers in Dearborn, they claimed it should have never left the plant like that.
There was a weld, dealer body guy suspected it was there as an attempt to mend the mounting flange where it was likely damaged when the original windshield was removed.
With the windshield out, you could see where the windshield was not making contact with the flange.

According to the order tracking system, my F-150 was shipped 5/12/2025 and delivered 5/21/2025. The only reason I know this is because I had to get the VIN from the live chat option on the website. I was told back in January when I placed the order, I would receive updates every 45 days.
I got nothing from Ford. I got nothing from the dealership either who has not answered my emails. Since it is supposed to have been delivered, let's see how long it takes for the dealership to let me know. I hope Ford built a good truck because their customer service sucks balls.
UPDATE: No word from Ford, BUT the dealership called me today and set up an appointment to pick up my new F-150 next Thursday!
I will trade my old Ram and do the MVC paperwork on site, and drive it home . The dealership, Route 23 Auto Mall in Butler, N.J. out-performed the company!

I ordered a truck from Ford back in 2010. When it shipped I tracked it along the way. It got to Chicago and then nothing. Got an email that said the delivery was delayed by 4 weeks. The next day I called Ford and got a long excuse of what was wrong and why the delay. The next day the dealership called and said my truck was ready to pick up. Three weeks later Ford called and said my truck should be delivered the next week. I thanked them for the info and smiled and said goodbye ?

In the same boat as you OP - Dealer in CT.
Wonder if we were on the same truck. No communication besides noticing the delivery pushed out 6/2-6/8 on the tracking website. Last Update was way back on 5/8.
It'll officially mark 1yr of waiting on 6/4. Crazy
Wow - thought I was the only one that happened to. Ordered 2024 XLT on 6/29/2024 - got three emails from Ford over the next few months, but truck was never built, never got a VIN. Decided to try again on 2/9/2025 with a new order on a 2025 XLT and still don't have a VIN, just the initial order confirmation which didn't come until 5/1. Dealer has not been helpful on trying to get answers. Both the Ford order status site and chatbot want a VIN to check status, and the customer service line was not helpful either. Luckily the 2013 XLT still runs great....

What can i say - they couldn't produce my ordered 2024 and i had to reorder
@Fordletterword - Have either your dealer or Ford given you any update on your order? Did you get your truck yet? Hope you have it, still no build confirmation for me, over a year now trying to order.

Ordered my 2025 XL RCSB in January and got it in May. But, Ford never sent me anything. I had to reach out to customer service to find out what was happening. That business about sending an email every 45 days was bullshit.

@Fordletterword - Have either your dealer or Ford given you any update on your order? Did you get your truck yet? Hope you have it, still no build confirmation for me, over a year now trying to order.
Just gave up and bought a Lariat off the lot......seems an XLT 5.0 super cab was never going to happen. So much for new technology, AI and robots - our 91 F250 XLT order sheet was a few pages long and we were able to choose the nitty gritty details - and got a truck in about 6 weeks configured exactly as we wanted. There were no package locks other than the pretty tailgate bezel that came on the Lariats was not available on XLT. One would think that assembly line technology would make it easier to customize your order without harming profitability.

We are still waiting for a build date from June 1st, 2025. After reading this thread I wonder if we will even get a 2025. We might look into cancelling and waiting for a 2026.
I got the truck on May 29th. Paid in full as planned. When I looked at the invoice, I had questions. When my registration was completed a week later and went back to turn in the temporary plates, they had a check for me for $4000. Seems I was over-charged. Glad they caught it.
It's a great truck. I have no regrets buying it. But the whole experience from Ford was a shit show.

Thank you for the reply. We are still waiting on our build date and suspect it won't happen. Our Sales guy said he would have the GM look into it for us. Fingers Crossed!

I would go directly to the Ford customer service website. Do it during regular business hours (Mon - Fri) and initiate a live chat. (You will only get a very dumb AI bot if you do it during off hours). Push the issue and find out where your truck is. Demand a VIN number. They should be able to track it through your order number and the dealership address. Don't give up.
It may be a futile, maybe not, but it's still a fight worth fighting.
Don't waste your time with an unresponsive dealership.
