Just gave up and bought a Lariat off the lot......seems an XLT 5.0 super cab was never going to happen. So much for new technology, AI and robots - our 91 F250 XLT order sheet was a few pages long and we were able to choose the nitty gritty details - and got a truck in about 6 weeks configured...- CrankyOG

Wow - thought I was the only one that happened to. Ordered 2024 XLT on 6/29/2024 - got three emails from Ford over the next few months, but truck was never built, never got a VIN. Decided to try again on 2/9/2025 with a new order on a 2025 XLT and still don't have a VIN, just the initial order...- CrankyOG
