I have a HSW raptor wheel and like it a lot. It's a beefier, more comfortable wheel. The paddles are also convenient as it's helluva chore having to go through 10 gears. I got it for $600 delivered and sold the factory leather wheel for 150. Given it's the primary HMI of the vehicle it's an easy upgrade IMO. I have a few CF overlays including the wheel as well. It started with the cup holder / console unit which makes cleaning it MUCH easier.

Nice beefy wheel

Absolutely stunning! Obviously a lot of attention to detail to get such a profesional looking install. I'd say you set the standard, I will try to follow suit.

Doesn’t tow/haul with 8,9,10 deselected manage the mountains pretty well up and down? Also, if you have the EV gauge selected you can ride the regen brake for a good bit before the binders grab eh?
Yup, tow/haul is pretty dang good on these trucks IMO and does everything for you, so I rarely even need to use my paddles when towing unless I'm just playing around.

Pretty sure all this is not just plug and play after my experience upgrading to power fold tow mirrors. There’s always wiring and forscan changes. My experience has been that Ford is useless once you move from as built. Possible yea anything’s possible, but what price are you willing to pay?

Hi guys, I'm new to this platform, I just bought a used 2021 Platinum Powerboost recently and was hoping to get the Raptor wheel installed. I've read through this and come to the conclusion the swap can't be done on Platinum / Limited trim trucks because of the adaptive steering? Or did I miss that part?

I'm a little unsure when it comes to wiring so will most likely purchase the harness from Grey Goose. But has anybody else got this done with a truck that has adaptive steering? Also, since my stock wheel is heated, is there anything additional I need to do to keep the heating on the Raptor wheel or is that part plug and play?

Apologies in advance if these questions have already been asked. Just trying to get my head around it and learn a little. It's my first truck! Thanks!

Ford just had a 20% off sale on their accessories last weekend and the Raptor wheel was available for under $500 direct from them.

I picked one up because I didn't care about a heated wheel; I'm in CA and I can preheat the truck if needed.

My understanding is that most trucks with an x02A package will already have the wiring in place for the paddles. You can check this, as others have mentioned, by peaking under the cover. My 2024 Powerboost 302A XLT seems to be pre-wired, although I haven't physically tried it yet. It's easy to add the wires if you need to, it's about $5 in materials and a cheap $20 crimper.

There seems to be a lot of confusion still going around about bluecruise compatibility and such; the wheel has nothing to do with Bluecruise. The only models the Raptor wheel won't work with are the Lariats and Platinums with the rare adaptive steering package (nothing to do with cruise control).

I just did the powerfold conversion, I didn't think it was difficult. Swap the mirrors, swap the buttons, add the 4 wires, reinstall. Everything but the fold worked, then forscan, done.

Hi Gang,
I just installed a 2024 Heated Raptor Wheel w/paddles on my 2024 F150 Lariat 502a and No Workie. Checked the white connector behind the wheel and no wires on 5,6,or 7. So then I looked at the console connector, see pix below, does not look like the earlier version connector.
Question, does anyone have a wiring layout for this connector...? It has a couple of Blues, a bunch of Grays and Greens. Could not see a Violet tracer on any of the Greens.
Any help would be great, Thanks.

Looks like they changed that connector on 24's and not surprised as they moved the driver camera module to the the center console for some reason, so prly needed more pins. You'll need to get the schematic for a 24 or have someone share one on here to compare.

Hi SuperFordMan
Found a '24 wiring "skitsoid" is slang around here for "schematic"...
Looks like the only wiring color change is from Blue to White/Brown . I am going to pull the connector apart and verify what is what with a Ohm meter. I will post what I find out this weekend.

On the 24's (Mine is a XL column shifter), the 3 wires you add to the C218A connector behind the steering wheel covers, go into the #5,6 and 7 spots on the connector. If those three slots are already taken, you should be wired and good to go. The other connector you need is the C210 and it is under/behind the glove box. I bought the BGG wiring harness, and it simply plugs inline to the C210 connector, and you take the three wires and route behind the dash/center console area then install to the C218A connector behind the steering wheel.

You could easily tap into the three wires of the C210 connector and route up to the steering wheel and pop them in slots #5/6/7 on the C218A connector. I'm lazy and like to just plug stuff in!

Hi Gang,
OK, on my truck the wire colors were Gray Up-Shift, Green/Violet Down-Shift and White/Brown Return. Sure as the Sun comes up in the East it works flawless. I must say that the Posi-Tap connectors are the greatest thing since Sliced Bread, you can take those Scotch Lock connectors and throw them in the garbage.
Thanks again to all for everything.
