Check Headlamp system?

Anyone ever have this pop up on the dash cluster when starting truck? Just started today and driving me nuts. Checked all thru the manual and can’t figure out what it is.
2023 Platinum. What am I missing here?

I had that issue. It seemed to have gone away a few days after what I assume was an OTA.

I just got it for the first time on 10/15 and then again on 10/18. Both times restarting the truck fixed it. When I got the message both times my headlights were both pointed straight at the ground. I noticed the headlights doing their side to side dance a couple times when I stopped (that is normally done at startup).

upon restarting I got the normal dance and proper aim

No thanks. All you’re gonna do is make me submit a ticket to a customer service person that has no idea what a car is and they will just stop responding.

Mine was doing this with the passenger side only all the time and required a restart to fix. It took Ford forever to figure it out and tons of parts were replaced while troubleshooting. It ended up being a defective headlight assembly that was replaced and the problem went away.

Might check if your dealer has mobile service in your area and they can just come out and update the HCM.

Yeah I have a good dealer here! My worry is the DRLs are brightened

I get that message from time to time, as well. Everything seems to work so I ignore it. Could it be contributed to a battery with a low SOC?

I’ve had this intermittently since I bought my 2021 last year, probably once or twice a month on average. I’ve noticed on at least one occasion the lamps were not pointed in the same direction (one was low) when it happened. Took it in recently and they replaced the LED modules for both headlights. Two days after getting it back it happened twice in a row on stop/start sequences at red lights.
