Anyone ever have this pop up on the dash cluster when starting truck? Just started today and driving me nuts. Checked all thru the manual and can’t figure out what it is.
2023 Platinum. What am I missing here?
Thanks for the replies everyone. RAS sounds like the way to go. Just a note; I had put them on my Sierra Denali back when they were fairly new years ago and they did ok but I was towing a much bigger boat. I see on their website they offer 2 versions regular & Heavy duty. What are your thoughts...
23 Platinum ,3.5, Max Tow package 5100 Bilstein upgrade all around with 2.5” strut plevel. Truck rides like a dream when not towing “But” when towing the rear end sags somewhat. About 2-3” with about 2-300# tongue weight. Would like to fix this issue without effecting the ride when I’m not...
My 23 Platinum with max tow has the standard size folding mirrors w/camera and I am wanting to swap out to “Tow” mirrors that have camera, fold, and retract in and out. Can this be done and how is the retracting switch added? curious how much this would cost or any vendors in central Fl. ?
Jamie, sounds like you are on your way to a great setup.
Post pics and measurements when you’re installed. Also curious on how you’ll like the rear 5160’s. I was going to go that route but only tow my Bassboat and very little off-road use.
Anyone on here ever vinyl wrapped a Platinum tailgate where the brushed chrome plate is? Thinking of toning it down a little with a shiny Black Chrome instead of silver that all of them are. Truck color is Rapid Red. Anyone?
I’m exited to get them on. What tires and wheels are you running?
I’m staying on a stock +44 wheel and going up to a 295/60/20 tire but torn between Toyo,Nitto, Bfg, Faulken. Too much info. Brain overload for sure.
I have the Max tow and believe it has a little more rake tha than
the non Max tow. With a 2” puck in the front I have 39 1/2 fender height and rear 41 1/2 SMH.. Bilsteins going on Friday so we’ll see the difference then.
Planted, less roll / sway in turns, better steering response.
All why raising front end up and achieving less rake and better look without having to get a lift .
Thanks for the reply I am going with 6112 in front and 5100 in rear.
I talked with the Bilstein tech support and this seems to be a common combination on the F150 . Now deciding what 295/60/20
A/T tire to go with on stock 20” or maybe drop down to a stock 18”.
Thoughts?
2023 Platinum Supercrew 3.5 ,Max tow , Fx4 .
Would Bilstein 6112 coilover on max 2.5 setting and 5100’s in the rear be a good combination
and improvement over factory suspension? Also will be putting 295/60/20 tires on stock rim.
Have a 2” puck on front now and I still have a lot of rake. I...
