Are all catch cans pretty much the same? I'm seeing wild variations in pricing on them. Looking to get one, before I procrastinate too much.

There's really nothing to them I'd look on Amazon for a aluminum one

I just bought the JL one off AMZ. More than I wanted to spend, but everything seems like that these days

J & L make one specifically for the Power Boost with the can on the driver's side with a fire wall mount. This keeps it from conflicts with the power box under the hood. Easy Peasy install.

If I were you I’d go with UPR’s Catch Can. They’re the best in the business. Do your own research and you’ll see why they have a class leading design in how they manufacture and build their catch cans. They can be a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for which is quality. From the can all the way to the hoses/connectors the quality is great! I myself have gotten their 5.0L catch can for my Coyote, Clean Side Separator, added the Billet Pro Series Check Valve on my hoses, Adjustable Hi-Flo Billet PCV Fitting and Billet One-Way Crankcase Breather (to replace my engine oil cap). I’ve seen people try to compare UPR to JL and it’s not even close! Here are pictures of my setup.

I have the JL. When I installed it, I wasn't to happy with the stiffness of the hoses. Ended up using a couple zip ties to keep the pcv valve from being pulled to the side. A couple years after I installed mine, the company came out with a larger can but I haven't pulled the trigger on that, instead emptying the oil halfway between oil changes to make sure it doesn't fill completely. Sure wish there was a nut on the bottom to facilitate removal. There's a youtube video somewhere that compares a few different brands.

Christ, the upr is $400. There's a little pricey and then there's pants-on-head retarded. No, just no.

The UPR is a very high-quality product. However, this position in a very shit location for the powerboost. It’s also at the price is at the top of the selection.

Its quality is great and it’s a dual can system. For me, the passenger side, single can from J&L made the most sense for me.

If I were racing and had boost up quite often the UPR would make sense.

Understood. You have to go with what’s right for your budget. I definitely get it. I just don’t like J&L’s baffling system. UPR’s is far more superior and worth the price for me.

And it’s a wonderful system, most likely the best
