Also, at my local O'Reilly's Motorcraft coolant, is 30 bucks a bottle.

All I get from the owner's manual, is a motorcraft part number. Anyone know the current spec requirement?

The main coolant loop has been know to lose coolant for a number of reasons, most notably from the infamous heat changer. The amount that leaks can be small and may never result in puddling. Once your truck has cooled down get under it and inspect the heat exchanger closely.

Coolant does evaporate to some degree so it is normal to lose a small bit . I just topped up both bottles in my 21 back up to the full line.

I also just topped off my main reservoir, my 2021 xlt hybrid powerboost reservoir did not need topping.

After 4-5 years use a top off is fairly normal. I used the Ford stuff but as long as it meets the specs??

Miniscule openings in a system could allow a few ounces of evaporation over very extended time frames but if both tanks move to the min level quickly I would think in terms of a leak. My tanks on my 2021 have always been stable. My 09 Tundra needed topping off every few months or half year towards the end because the water pump was likely weeping.

No. I don't know when it dropped but it didn't come that way.
