i have these forscan chnages but i was wondering if you knew what each change does ? Did you resolve your issue yet ?You could have it today if you want it. All you need to do is update with FDRS and make a few Forscan changes. The updates are all available for your truck and have been for awhile. The forscan changes just became public this week when the OTAs started going out but you could have asked around for those as well.
If you check the Forscan spreadsheet that is pinned at the top of this thread you can get a general idea of what each change represents.i have these forscan chnages but i was wondering if you knew what each change does ? Did you resolve your issue yet ?
At this point, I'd say you either go with the plan to roll it back or have the dealer take a look it at. If Ford is pushing the update out to the masses, then they obviously don't think there's anything wrong with it. The other guy that was having issues got everything working right with some the FORScan changes.....apparently, he has some bad config causing issues. That I know of, your truck is the only one with issues now.If you check the Forscan spreadsheet that is pinned at the top of this thread you can get a general idea of what each change represents.

My issue has not yet been resolved but only because it is being left in the current state for research purposes. We know what will work to get it resolved and will be getting it working again in the near future
Doesn't that entail a Windows computer and licenses for FDRS and Forscan; none of which I currently have? Ford should be rolling updates out to customers if they want to retain subscriptions. Supposedly that was the purpose of the OTA capabilities in these trucks. You could have it today if you want it. All you need to do is update with FDRS and make a few Forscan changes. Yes but all can easily be obtained. You also would need a mongoose cable which Amazon could have to you as soon as tomorrow. If you don’t want to purchase one there is a thread here you can use to borrow one.Doesn't that entail a Windows computer and licenses for FDRS and Forscan; none of which I currently have?
OK, thanks if he can do the rollback I’ll start with that where I know it was working before the updateAt this point, I'd say you either go with the plan to roll it back or have the dealer take a look it at. Please let me know if you get this update, I haven’t renewed my BC yet ok my 21’ Plat and now that they dropped the price I’m considering it….It better be. I just paid a bundle of money to extend BC after they threatened to cancel mine.
Agreed, they dropped the BC price though which helps at least….with an update I’ll prob renew alsoI'll believe it when I see it. If I get it, I might sign up to renew my subscription, otherwise I'm done with BC.
I will share what I told Ford then they called. BC costs too much, Chevy is 1/2 the price and way more roads. In Washington State, BC is only the interstates while Chevy has the US highways also.Agreed, they dropped the BC price though which helps at least….with an update I’ll prob renew also
