You could have it today if you want it. All you need to do is update with FDRS and make a few Forscan changes. The updates are all available for your truck and have been for awhile. The forscan changes just became public this week when the OTAs started going out but you could have asked around for those as well.

At this point, I'd say you either go with the plan to roll it back or have the dealer take a look it at. If Ford is pushing the update out to the masses, then they obviously don't think there's anything wrong with it. The other guy that was having issues got everything working right with some the FORScan changes.....apparently, he has some bad config causing issues. That I know of, your truck is the only one with issues now.

Doesn't that entail a Windows computer and licenses for FDRS and Forscan; none of which I currently have? Ford should be rolling updates out to customers if they want to retain subscriptions. Supposedly that was the purpose of the OTA capabilities in these trucks.

Yes but all can easily be obtained. You also would need a mongoose cable which Amazon could have to you as soon as tomorrow. If you don’t want to purchase one there is a thread here you can use to borrow one.

Otherwise it will eventually come OTA but there is no telling how long that will take

I believe this update is for EAP people for now. Hopefully will come to the regular folk soon.

It better be. I just paid a bundle of money to extend BC after they threatened to cancel mine.

Please let me know if you get this update, I haven’t renewed my BC yet ok my 21’ Plat and now that they dropped the price I’m considering it….

although for some weird reason it’s now disappeared from my FP App and I don’t see BC able to renew (it expired about a month ago and I was considering it) I did just renew the connected Navigation today which I assumed was needed for BC, but it’s still not showing on my app ??‍…someone else posted the same problem of it not showing after ford app went down about a month ago apparently.

Fingers crossed some Bs didn’t happen

I will share what I told Ford then they called. BC costs too much, Chevy is 1/2 the price and way more roads. In Washington State, BC is only the interstates while Chevy has the US highways also.

As other said, they need to support towing, not sure why they don't as Blind Side supports the trailer being there. You enter the trailer length, and it allows for it.

I’ll be driving to Phoenix for Christmas and I’m going to bring the mongoose cable in case @rugedraw has some 1.5 Christmas gifts for us. ? BC is a welcome helper for 3500 miles.

I’ll drop this here because I keep forgetting which BC version does what.
