Its a 2022 truck, But I still have the button and I didnt change anything start/stop related so I dont see why it would be affecting it. I cant find any pictures of the truck close enough to see if it has auto/start/stop or not. Mine is stuck on and I cant turn it off with the button. Auto start/stop is probably the worst feature in existence
If it is a 22 it probably had the stop/start delete, 22 was a weird year. I would pull the asbuilt from a 23 with heated seats and stop/start and then just turn off the heated seat setting in the module

Forscan won’t even let me make any changes to the HVAC module. Every time I try to write any change it just says “ service procedure has been interrupted” any ideas on this?

Try deleting the truck profile and letting forscan re-scan all of the modules. If that doesn't do it then it may be a bad module. Even if the settings are wrong you should be able to at least access it and see the settings.

I’ll try that. I can read the module and see the settings but if I try to change anything. I get that code.

I did this on my 24 STX. No harness change required. I used Ford part # ML3T-18C612-AE

Only issue you will have is that the Dual Zone climate will not work due to the actual dual zone hard parts not being installed on our lower trim level trucks. This will not cause any issue other than a latent code in the system.
I seem to have mine working well. My only issue is that if I put the auto on full high (heat) it doesn’t come out of the dash vents. It only comes out of the feet and the defroster vent. If I set to cold it will come out of the dash. Does yours do this?

Mine seems to work correctly. No issues with heat or cool settings.

That’s weird? Do you have a picture of your settings? On heat mode mine won’t blow from the dash vents. Only defroster and feat

Update to anyone wondering. I checked it with my brothers Platinum and it works the same as mine. I guess its normal.

So, what part # would work on my 23 STX- is it the same as the 24? I know the 23 and 24 are different in some respects.

From what I understand, the climate modules are different in some aspects. The harness from my 24' truck plugged right into my module from a 22' truck. If you have a 23' truck I would probably try to get a module from a 21-23' just to make sure. Then you have to write the code in the module and write some code in the APIM so you can see the temp on screen (if you want to)

Don't care about the temp on screen, just want to see it on the knobs... The main reason I want to do this is because my truck will turn on the compressor anytime it senses the humidity is too high and it drive me crazy having to adjust the temp up and down over and over. Pure stupidity on Ford's part.

The knobs that I have don't have the temperature screen on them. So I had to code it into my screen.

I just installed this on my 2024 XL. I have all functionality (Defrost, Auto Temps, Temp Digital readout, Cold A/C, Hot A/C, Recirculating, Max A/C, Knob controls) but my rear defroster is not turning on via the HVAC dash controls.

Additioanlly, do not have a 'climate' menu in my Sync menu and the temperature display is only showning on the left side. How can I activate this on my passenger side?

It depends on if the HVAC module is coded or not. You are best to modify both that and the APIM so that they work with each other.
My HVAC coding is attached below. This worked for me.

How can I read this in the context of 733-01-01 module and HEX codes? Havent had my morning coffee yet.
