It is showing some DTC but I just figured that was because there is not passenger side physical parts in there. Is your auto start/stop button working? Did you find a way to clear the DTC?
Yes my auto start stop button works, and I have it disabled and that is fine.

What is unreal theme? The module that I got doesn’t have the display inside the knobs. So I have no idea what the temperature is actually set to. Is this something I can turn on inside forscan? Do you know which settings I need to tweak? Any info is greatly appreciated
You should be able to add the temps to the top of the default bar instead of enabling the unreal theme. Check this and you want the SBT enabled to get the temp readout.

Thanks for this. When I put my truck on full heat auto it wont come out of the dash vents. Only comes out of the feet and defroster. Any idea why? If I put it on cold it will come out of the dash vents just fine.

Did you back up the oem module and restore those settings to the new one? Is your module from a 21-23 or 24. I found out the hard way that the coding is different. I have an XLT with auto already but I added a module from a 21 that has the readouts on the knobs. I had to use the 21 coding to get it working correctly. I went through line by line using the forscan spreadsheet and set all of my settings.

I have the new module without the screens on them. Everything else seems to work fine, just no heat comes from the vents when it’s in auto. Ac will blow just fine. Wonder if anyone else with an STX had this issue

It is probably a blend door setting in the module that needs to be changed as you don't have the doors and actuators. You may need to look through all of the settings and try different things. You need to know if the module was for a 21-23 or a 24 as the coding is different between them.

Okay I will try that. I appreciate the help. Are you looking in the APIM setting or the HVAC settings?

APIM to get the temp readouts at the top of the screen and the rest of the settings will be in the hvac module. When I put my module in I restored the backup from my 24 onto a module for 21 and it did all kinds or weird stuff. I had to go back line by line to get set back up.

Okay thanks. So if my truck is a 24 and the module is from a 23 I need to use the coding off the 23 truck?

Yes, the settings are different. If you look in the livinitup forscan sheet there are separate tabs for 21-23 and 24. You need to use the 21-23 settings to program the hvac module.

Did you restore a backup of your 24 module into the 23? When I did it caused issues with my start stop because of the settings mismatch. Once I restored everything to the 23 settings it worked again.

I haven't changed any settings in the HVAC module actually. Only added the temp and fan repeaters on the screen in Forscan. I found the exact truck that my module came out of. XLT with no heated seats, which should have all the same climate features as mine pretty much. I am going to copy the as built data from that truck into my HVAC settings and see what happens. Because my truck is doing some kind of weird things since the swap.

Was it a covid truck that had the start/stop delete?

Its a 2022 truck, But I still have the button and I didnt change anything start/stop related so I dont see why it would be affecting it. I cant find any pictures of the truck close enough to see if it has auto/start/stop or not. Mine is stuck on and I cant turn it off with the button. Auto start/stop is probably the worst feature in existence
