I rolled the dice and bought one on eBay for $299. It worked.
Yup, you're definitely on the right track, you may even have a few too many on there but you have the right thinking. You don't need to touch the ABM. I got it working on my buddies 300A this week so have a good idea and list of what needs changed now.@superfordman @Jesse-Infotainment
Working on adding IACC/ESA/TSR/TJA/ and want to confirm I'm not missing anything. Of course forscan changes will be different based on features but my truck is 2021 3.5l 501a FX4 and reference truck is 502a 2.7l FX4 w copilot assist 2.0.
Plus programming VIN into CCM after changing 706-02-02 and calibration
Thank you for the help! Dealer said CCM is unavailable but replacement part number ML3Z-9E731-G is coming out in July.
Cheers
Can you please quickly detail what is involved in the calibration process?Another big/good update! Just a few days late. My buddy with a 300A got his CCM all wired in, then I worked my magic to configure everything, went out to calibrate the CCM, successful on that, turned everything on and everything worked just like it should! ACC, lane centering, and TSR/IACC all worked perfectly right out of the gate.
So like I said before, I think as long as you have an IPMA you can add everything above by simply just adding the CCM up front. I was able to double check all the changes needed so have a pretty good idea of what needs changed to enable everything, so will try to get that list cleaned up and shared out for everyone when I have a chance.
In forscan you will need to enter your vin # in a hexadecimal format for the CCM module. You can copy the hexadecimal (vin) from your ABS module. Once completed, select the wrench icon in forscan and locate the CCM calibration. Go through the prompts and viola, your done. Basically, all you have to do is drive in your lane at 35 mph or faster for 5-10 minutes. There will be a popup on your instrument cluster that will disappear when the calibration is complete. Can you please quickly detail what is involved in the calibration process?
How do you access it to calibrate, etc.
Thank you!
I will be super stoked when you have that list together. I'm so busy with work that i have very little time to tinker with different settings.Another big/good update! Just a few days late. My used one on eBay worked and it set me back $299.Anyone have luck finding the CCM assembly? I’m being told it’s on national backorder.
