You should keep in mind Ford has released a lot of updates to the PCM (Powertrain control module). Doing these updates through FDRS is important in addition to resetting the adaptive learning !Got home from work and decided to turn off the adaptive learning, on initial test drive the truck seemed more predictable, acceleration was about the same in terms of firmness, downshift were about the same as well, you can still feel a slight pulse each time the truck downshifts. I will run with the learning off for a couple days and see how it does in different conditions. How do downshifts feel for you guys? My gripe is that on occasion I can feel my head bobbing each time the truck downshifts, maybe I'm being picky but I hear from a lot of people about how their shifts are buttery smooth.
