Well, now I know what my leading candidate for my next truck will be. Of course, I'm not giving up this one anytime soon, so it's possible that something even better will come along by that point.

a f250 short box crew cab 4x4 hunters edition with bed tent, ac and coffee makerNatural progression of things. You already have a more capable platform able to absorb a payload hit. I wonder if they will apply this to all of the super duty line up.
CAFE standard should still apply I believe. As far as cost, all vehicles are overpriced at MSRP so trend is probably here to stay. the f150 today with a 7.2kW is only a $995 option… so if it’s around that ball park won’t be a deal breaker.Super duties don't have to meet CAFE standard right? Then Ford will likely not incentivize buyers and I would imagine a super duty Powerboost will be very expensive. Still too early to tell though
You can remove that piece. But, will it still have the Exhaust coolant heater nonsense - also known as the worst idea in the history of automotive design.
How so? Does someone make a kit to do this that addresses the sensors as well as coolant routing? I'd like to loop the coolant pipes right at the engine or close to it, so that all of the plumbing that goes down the side of the truck could be removed. To me, it is a huge vulnerability to have engine coolant plumbed underneath 8 feet of the truck. A rock or road debris could puncture one of those pipes, and your SOLYou can remove that piece.

On my 21 F150 PB about 40k miles in, averaging 21.5 based on computer readings… I have hand calculated if I drive 65-70 mph I can get 25 mpg
...use the lincoln's electric motor with a new 4.x kWh battery while using the PB's HV parts.
