Did anyone have a parts website say FL3Z-14A626-AH doesn't fit their f150? Mines a 2025 XLT.

I'm looking into doing this and was hoping someone could answer a few questions:
1) Can I lock my FOB in the truck with this keypad like you can on prior years (seems like yes but want to confirm). Currently if I try to lock my fob inside the truck beeps and unlocks the doors.
2) Little paranoid about water. I've done tons of DIY work on cars but neve messed with weather stripping or areas meant to keep water out (can water leak through where the pad snaps in too?). Anyone had any issues?
3) How has the price of these parts doubled in 6 months?! Still worth it but the battery option is now cheaper.
Thank you!1) Yes there is no problem locking your key fob inside the truck as long as you use the door keypad to lock the vehicle.
2) I haven’t experienced any issues with water getting inside the vehicle. For what it’s worth, the door panel is designed to get water inside. As long as you keep your door panel drains at the bottom clean of any debris or dirt, water should be able to drain out.
3) You could try shopping around online on different dealer websites, even asking your local parts desk to price match them. I was able to do that and save a few dollars
1) Leaving FOB in the truck works great. I suggest picking up a simple Faraday Bag for safety. It basically hides the FOB from shady folks with tech that can see them and gain access to your truck. Plenty on Amazon. Works great for truly making your phone, tablet disappear as well, if that's ever something you wanted to accomplish. No GPS, Wifi, 5G, or other signals make it through the bag.I'm looking into doing this and was hoping someone could answer a few questions:

Thanks! Ordering now. Lot of new tech on these things... or new to me anyway.1) Leaving FOB in the truck works great. I suggest picking up a simple Faraday Bag for safety. 2) Zero water issues.
3) As for the pricing, more of the same!!! Everywhere you turn! Pay more, get less. At least the keypad is not half the size it was for twice the price. Same can't be said for food and groceries.
Good Luck with the install. It was a breeze!

be careful about leaving your key fob inside your vehicle. I’ve done it, but you are running the risk of not getting an insurance payout, should the vehicle get stolen!I'm looking into doing this and was hoping someone could answer a few questions:

Insurance won't pay out even if the car is locked??be careful about leaving your key fob inside your vehicle. I’ve done it, but you are running the risk of not getting an insurance payout, should the vehicle get stolen!
it may depend on your insurance company, but my son is a cop, and they will not make an effort to locate the vehicle, if the keys were left in it locked or otherwise, and that in itself could jeopardize an insurance claim if the police dismiss it. Like I said, I’ve done it myself often accidentally cause I’m so used to hitting the bottom two buttons to lock it and then realizing my keys were still inside. But I think we are leaving ourselves vulnerable, in the case where it got stolen. And you know if they want it bad enough, they will get stolen.Insurance won't pay out even if the car is locked??
There are tons of ford owners who use their vehicle like that, ford should do a PSA or something.
Stuff like that makes me miss my 20 year old beater no one wants to stealit may depend on your insurance company, but my son is a cop, and they will not make an effort to locate the vehicle, if the keys were left in it locked or otherwise, and that in itself could jeopardize an insurance claim if the police dismiss it. Yes, I had that issue, the plugs were different, I believe I posted the correct part number in that postDid anyone have a parts website say FL3Z-14A626-AH doesn't fit their f150? Mines a 2025 XLT.
I'm not seeing your post on this in the thread - am I missing something?Answer 1, yes, but you have to lock the vehicle with the keypad by pressing 7-9 simultaneously
Answer 2, its the same part as the factory uses so the weather issue is

Here's a snapshot of the 2 items I used on my 25 Platinum. Not sure why they would be different for the LariatLike others I find Ford Parts says fl3z14a626ah does not fit my 2025 Lariat, the correct part is rl3z14a626aa. Has anyone used this rl3z part or any other than what DD219 originally posted?
Thanks!
My pleasure. My order was from 4/25. Good luck and let us know how it goes! Can't imagine not having my keypad.Thx, the same partsDD219 used and they work, guess I should stop second guessing it. Otgher thing tho is the prices I get at FordParts.com are quite a bit more than what you posted, I've noticed that with some other postings.
