This same dealer does a 10 yr/100000 mile Ford Powertrain Warranty on all their units. It's the Ford Protect product and it's legit. I'd have no issue with it as long as it's the Ford product and not 3rd party.

What's the issue with the lifetime powertrain?
I have a low tolerance for smoke and mirrors, shell games. I just want to buy the truck I want at an agreed upon price. Same goes for charging you for lowjack. My last purchase, sales guy shows me in small print on the Internet ad, says I have to pay for it. I grabbed my checkbook and started walking for the door. He stopped me at my wife's car. Remove it or leave it but I'm not paying for that BS. They left it, I didn't pay for it. Feel for all the people thet get screwed over. These warranties are mostly a joke. You have to get the service done there, you miss a single oil change interval, they'll deny the hell out of you. You might be shocked how many actual parts are not included in these 3rd party lifetime warranty policies. Look around on YouTube it's a known scam. It's always some 3rd party crap. Dealer will tell you it's between you and them. No thanks!

BINGO! That's the way I went. Bought warr through Granger, hope I never need it but at least I know I can count on it and I'm working through Ford, not some rando.

Im sure going forward from 2025 the cable and connector will be removed.
Has anyone followed that connector back to the module or a wire loom?

Also. It seems like a coincidence that the securcide button removal occurred at the exact same time when ford started encryption.
Could ford be doing something nefarious?

Is the new number for the keypad for the 2025 F150

RL3Z-14A626-AA

The other part number shows discontinued at the dealer I normally deal with, however, KEP-1 is an alternate, cheaper part number.

Also, to confirm, this will be plug and play on a 2025 XLT 302a after forscan?

I just ordered FL3Z-14A626-AH (the part number listed in the first post) directly through Ford Parts using my FordPass Rewards points. After I installed it, Ford programmed it using FDRS.

I have a 2025 xlt 303 and I just ordered the exact part numbers everyone here is mentioning from ford oem parts (even though it said one of them does not fit my vehicle). Fairly easy install, works great.

Pretty much plug and play with forscan

I just installed mine (2025 Lariat). Appreciate and thank you for the detailed instructions. Parts from Parkway Ford were about $200. I ordered on Friday and got the parts on Tuesday. Pretty straight forward install (took about an hour), One thing to note, the outside lower plastic trim on the door (mine is chrome - Lariat) does not need to come off. I could not seem to find a way to pull it out and I have read other threads about those trim pieces breaking when trying to remove so I didn't want to take that chance. Simply removing the one hex screw that holds the end is enough. Just have to be careful when removing the door applique, that you don't pull full force. It will come off with slight pressure by pulling from the inside outward, then just lift up and out.

2025 F-150 Tremor
I put this in one of the tow mirror threads, but I guess I'll post it here too:

I just finished adding tow mirrors and wanted to let everyone know what I ran into.

I have a 2025 Tremor 402A. I added the door keypad from this thread (part number FL3Z-14A626-AH) The keypad plugged right in to the factory wiring harness.

I swapped my regular mirrors to tow mirrors (ML3Z-17696-DA). The mirrors included the switch and trim piece for the door, but the factory door wiring harness did not have the plug for the telescoping switch. I purchased wiring harness RL3Z-14631-E because it has the telescoping plug and wiring included. The problem that I ran into was that this new wiring harness did not have the right connector for the keypad that I previously installed. I had to swap the keypad out with RL3Z-14A626-AA in order for the connectors to fit without cutting and splicing.
So, basically, the keypad RL3Z-14A626-AA has a different connector than FL3Z-14A626-AH.

Just did the door panel and wired keypad install on my ‘25 F150 Raptor and can confirm the wiring is in the door panel and the following part numbers are correct and worked without issue:

FL3Z-14A626-AH - Keypad
FL3Z-1520555-SG - Gloss Door Panel

As others have said just take your time, especially with the lower black door trim piece as I can see the clicks breaking easily. Everything else was straight forward and without issue on the install.

Once you get the install complete you HAVE to make the FORScan changes first before moving forward. Once you do, I suggest turning the truck off for about 10-15 minutes and allowing everything to turn off and reset. At first the keypad option didn’t show on my screen but after waiting and checking again it was there.

Also, if doing the 2 key in the cupholder method to get your factory code, it took me a few tries so don’t give up. I found that once you put the first fob in and turn on accessory mode, turn it off right away and then do the second fob and turn it back on. The first few times I waited a few extra seconds between turning it off and switching fobs and it didn’t work, but when I did the turn off quickly and swap quickly method it worked on the first try. Just be ready to take the picture of the code, it only stays up for a short period of time 👍🏻

Did this today on my 2025 XLT 302A.

FL3Z-1520555-SG
Fl3Z-14A626-AG

Install wasn't too bad. I used a fiberglass construction fishing line just to be sure it was routed correctly.

5/6 button drops my tailgate.

Wondering if because I used the older part number, if that's why my 5/6 button works for the tailgate?

All in, about $200 CDN funds for all the parts.

Congrats! Man, that's awesome! I want that tailgate drop option!!! Could you please explain how you make the TG drop? Guessing you don't have the PAT? Do you have the power tailgate UP/DOWN? Maybe these are a factor?

Can anyone else confirm they have this feature working, and did you use his part number: Fl3Z-14A626-AG

Ford shows that part is made for 21-22 F150's. He has a 25 XLT

Here's what GROK says for instructions:
  1. Enter your factory-set 5-digit code or personal code on the keypad.
  2. Within 5 seconds of entering the code, press the 5/6 button on the keypad. This will release the tailgate latch.

The tailgate should then lower freely. If your truck has a power tailgate, this method may not work—use the interior dash button, key fob, or tailgate handle instead. Always ensure the area behind the tailgate is clear before releasing it.
