I’ve tried many times, very slow, very fast, very very fast, FOBs inserted different ways, nada.
Try this, maybe the button direction of the fob in the slot? Are both fobs currently programmed to the truck?

Did you try making the FORScan changes first then getting the factory code? Worth a shot.

After you installed the keypad, and updated FORScan, did your Sync screen present the factory code or request it? Or asked another way, at what point is the factory code needed?

Thx, this is the best step of steps I've seen, but tried it again this AM with same negative results. Since the key code is blank on my BCM module, I'm wondering if Ford stopped assigning key codes, if they're only used for the key pad which the 2025 don't have???

Thx, I agree with your suggestion, have not done it yet but will give it a shot.
Grok says you need to do in this order:
1) Install Keypad
2) Make FORScan changes
3) Retrieve code using Fobs

You can’t get key code until installed and programmed.

And just FYI, I have a ‘25 as well and the spot on my BCM module for the code is blank as well, first place I looked lol

I have a 2025 i got a month ago and i had the factory code and everything was fairly smooth and exactly what i expected based on this thread

i did do the procedure to get the code after activating the keypad with forscan. I activated in 2 different spots i believe.

having the keypad is the best thing about owning a Ford. I was between an f150 and a different brand and I am so glad I went with the f150 just on the keypad.

Don't ruin the board with AI slop.
The instructions are accurate. I reference the source for transparency. This site and most likely this thread were crawled to confirm the information. I get your point though. "Keep it real". This response was not generated by ai, for the record 🤪

So I ordered the keypad Ford said matched my VIN, the RL3Z-14A626-AA, it's being returned at Ford's expense, the connector is wrong. I'm going order what I should have, the FL3Z-14A626-AH that everyone has installed successfully. Should have listened to other owners not Ford. Interesting the part is for a 250, but fits the 150 connector.

Okay, great thread here, thank you to everyone who had input.

I picked up the key pad and trim panel for my 2025 King Ranch today. I ordered the two parts identified at the start of this thread.

After reading this entire thread, took me about an hour to install the hardware. I started with the door panel so that I could verify the connector matched. As mentioned, I was able to remove the original trim panel without removing the exterior horizontal piece along the window (I did remove the T20 screw).

With the trim panel off, I snaked the key pad connector straight down. While slightly turning the cable it moved down easily. I was able to connect it to the connector and attached the retaining clip closest to the connector. The other one I was not able to feel (blind location) where to attach it. With the key pad wired, I put the trim piece on then reinstalled it to the vehicle. More great advice to place a towel over the window hole when installing the 4 bolts for the trim piece.

Using Forscan I activated the key pad, wired. Getting the hard coded key code was easy, and it displayed until ok was pressed on the steering wheel.

I was a little disappointed that it unlocked all doors at once, instead of just the drivers door, then the rest when the other number is pressed on the key pad. After playing around, I found that was set on the infomat under the setting to unlock all doors (not just drivers) when I would walk up with the key FOB. Changed that setting and it works as I expected.

In Forscan I used the easy setup method. Afterwards I did look at the APIM and BCM address for the key pad and noticed that they don't match what is in the livinitup spreadsheet. Not sure why, but it does work.

Great guidance from everyone, thanks again. This made the installation quick and easy.
