Hi all
I have a 2024 single cab XL and I want to do the wide raptor fenders. My question is, do I need to swap other parts like grille, hood? I'm trying to do only fenders and keep my original XL grille.

Thanks in advance

Yes. For sure the hood is more narrow than stock as well at the grille to access the hood latch. Your bumper will also be short side to side.

At a minimum you'd need fenders, hood, grille, bumper. And probably some wheel spacers, unless you want your wheels tucked about 2.5" inside the fenders.

Search Chino the King on YT. He has done it and is doing a second.

The reason for a much higher cost of the Raptor is that it has a unique die set for its parts. The cab is 12 inches wider than a standard F-150. Parts like fenders, hood, cowl, facia, modified cab floor, cab back panel, and the entire box.

No. Not even close. The Raptor is 80” wide, same as the standard F150. Raptor does have wider fenders and suspension but overall, the cabs are the same.

Apparently you’ve never looked up the dimensions! F-150 84 inches wide, Raptor is 96 inches wide. Looked it up when I couldn’t get it in my garage. Most of the sheet metal is unique to the Raptor!

Actually did did just to verify I was correct before I posted. Additionally, I’ve looked at the two hoods side by side. The Raptor cab is NOT 12” wider. You are wrong.

The raptor cab is the same as a standard F150 cab. Fender and wheel spacing are wider on the raptor.

The cab is not different……. Wherever you got your information, you are incorrect.

The 96 inches comes from the widest point….. that sure as hell isn’t the cab

Yes, I was partially incorrect. 96 inches wide with mirrors. Cab width on the Raptor is 86.6 inches wide, and the F-150 is 79.9 inches wide. That means the body panels are truly different as I previously stated. Tried to put inner fender liners in it. Won't fit because they're too narrow. Many stampings are unique to the Raptor. Floor pan probably is the same but the rocker panel section is wider than on an F-150. Roof, hood, fenders, cowl, back panel and box are Raptor only I suspect.

Doors and cab are the same. Raptor just has bumpers, Hood, front fenders and rear bedsides. There is no “rocker” panel.

There's multiple people that have done raptor swaps. The cab is the same.

You were more than partially incorrect. Cab width on Raptor is the same 80” as all the other F150s.

I’ve posted a link with Raptor dimensions, there are many guys who have done the swap and posted on FB, IG and YT. It would be simple to look at those and see how close the vehicles are. Additionally several others on this site have tried to give you accurate information. I’m done.
