I have a order confirmation but no build or blend date. Regular Cab short bed XL in Iconic Silver Metallic!! The standard features of the short bed is EXACTLY how I would have 'optioned' it. I did add black Platform Running Boards and privacy glass. If I could I would have added carpet and a power drivers seat.

I just had mine lowered with a Ridetech 3/5.5 kit, rear sway bar, and rear air bags. I can get in without needing running boards and the handling is much improved. I don’t need to get a stepladder to check the oil.

I'm seriously considering the 2"-4" Ford 'performace' drop but haven't made my mind up yet. I do think I'll add a sway bar as well as I have read there's no downside. I like your trucks stance! Are you considering different wheels and tires?

I read a lot on this forum about suspension kits before I made my choice. I worried about how it would affect my load carrying ability. The airbags make it easy to carry loads to the load limit even with it lowered. I carried a half ton of fertilizer yesterday with no problems at all. I didn’t even notice the load. The shocks are adjustable and I have them set in the middle of the 24 adjustment positions. The ride is good and I have plenty of room to make it firmer or softer. Mine is a 4x4 and was taller than yours will be.
I am waiting to see about the tires and wheels. I usually want to go wider and reduce sidewalls for handling. I have created problems with clearance and also problems in the rain with much wider tires on other cars in the past.

Part of me says go with larger wheels so that I can add larger brakes. The other part of me says that it’s a truck and not a Turbo Porsche.
I also have dreams of a supercharger, but when I am at the gas pump, I really like being able to reach for the regular fuel nozzle.
I think that I will wait until I need new tires and then make a decision on wheels and tires.

I like the look of the Shelby Super Snake RC and will build a sport truck in stages. But I'm hesitant to put wide street tires and am leaning towards a quality all terrain. With 2 wheel drive traction is more important than looks. Low noise and wet traction/braking is really important to me. I'm in Florida so snow is not a issue at all and I have no plans to off road. Few opportunities to even drive on the beach nowadays here. I bought a new 1992 step side Regular cab Ranger and put too wide a tire on it and had hydroplaning issues in heavy rain at interstate speeds.
I plan to get my other mods done first.. paint correction Ceramic and partial PPF one piece tonneau cover and bed rug. Then when I decide what to do with the grill (splitter maybe?) I'll get the bumpers door handles mirror caps painted to match with STRIPES lolol!
