2024 XL center console question?

I have a 2024 RCSB. I’d like to remove the center console’s headrest. It was easy in 2019 RCSB that I had.
I’ve looked in the supplemental manual, and it says to pull it up, press the button and pull it up/out.
My problem is I can’t get the headrest to budge, I’ve only tried hard enough to avoid damage.
As anyone else removed theirs, and was it difficult? Thanks in advance.

The center ones are pretty tight when they’re pushed down all the way, and will lock in that position. You’ll have to get your fingers under it to press the buttons on the retention posts to get it to release.

Thank you gentlemen! Yes, it really was in tight, I’ve always taken them out right away, but this one was tougher than before.
