Purchased their Driveway extended warranty because it was a CPO 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor. Really didn’t need it. Son moved to the big city where a vehicle wasn’t required. Sold the vehicle. Applied to Driveway for my refund. Got them all of the documents finally over 30 days of screwing around...
I'd certainly call customer service about their shitty service. I got chewed out by CS when my dealer hadn't called tech support and she called them. They figured it out and were great. Ford gave me an additional 2 years/24K miles to my warranty. Make the call!
Just remember that what you're driving now were designed and engineered during Covid. One of my clients just received the contract to surface Ford's cars for Europe. Don't have anyone working there who knows anything. Most UAW members couldn't get a job at Toyota. Quality just sucks! I'd fire...
Yes, I was partially incorrect. 96 inches wide with mirrors. Cab width on the Raptor is 86.6 inches wide, and the F-150 is 79.9 inches wide. That means the body panels are truly different as I previously stated. Tried to put inner fender liners in it. Won't fit because they're too narrow. Many...
Apparently you’ve never looked up the dimensions! F-150 84 inches wide, Raptor is 96 inches wide. Looked it up when I couldn’t get it in my garage. Most of the sheet metal is unique to the Raptor!
The reason for a much higher cost of the Raptor is that it has a unique die set for its parts. The cab is 12 inches wider than a standard F-150. Parts like fenders, hood, cowl, facia, modified cab floor, cab back panel, and the entire box.
Had that issue with my 2022 F-150 Raptor. Turned out to be a software issue. Had the tank out of the truck twice. Repaired some pins in the harness and corrected the software. Tell the dealer to use the Forscan scan tool.
Idiots at GM and Ford fired Jack Cooper Transportation and now wonder why their vehicles don't get delivered. Put them out of business after many years.
Ford is following my motto of “Penny pinching our way to prosperity.” Deleting lighting in a 100K truck. Quality is in the toilet, engineering is pathetic and time for Jim Farley to be fired!
I have the same problem with my 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor 3.5L Eco Boost. Took it in Suburban Romeo Ford. It was reflashed and worked exactly once. Started with 50 MTE and could put 18 gallons in it. After reflash could fill it up once. They had it for 30 days. Had the fuel tank out and checked all...
They had the tank out of the truck. It’s a software issue. They flash it, it works once and reverts to the prior settings. This time I got 22.571 gallons in it with 58 miles to empty. Ford tech support and the dealer have NFC! Going to buy the OBD-II plug from Forscan, download the software and...
They emptied the tank in the 30 days they had it the first time. Took the tank down out of the truck. Checked the float, sensor and venting. Strange that it works just once. I had 641 miles to empty when we picked it up. Any ideas? My friend that worked for GM at the Proving Grounds in Milford...
It still has the fuel system issue They flashed it with Ford Scan and it fixed it. Filled it full once. Then back to the old way. Put 22.571 gallons in it with 58 miles to empty. Any ideas?
