New 2024 powerboost and have noticed at slow speeds there are harsh side to side movements. It feels like you’re sloshing in a fish bowl. I’ve taken it into ford and of course they say they can’t recreate the issue. I’ve test driven a like for like truck and they had very different rides. I got a few good videos today but looking for any suggestions before I take it back to ford.

Can you be a little more descriptive about what’s going on?

Ok….. guess I’m having Internet issues. I got the video.

That’s pretty normal for turning a corner and going through a drain depression at an angle. It’s a heavy truck somewhat soft suspension coil spring front leaf rear that’s normal truck stuff.

I posted two videos, hopefully you can now see those. The truck seems very unstable around turns; lots of leaning, and bouncing. While driving straight it’s not as noticeable unless the terrain changes a bit.
I’ve had a hard time coming up with descriptive words for what’s happening: bouncing, floating, sloshing. Truck has just over 1,000 miles on it.

i did not. Basic suburban driving

it’s too squishy. I test drove another identical truck and it was not such a soft and wobbly ride. I also drove my sister’s ‘21 XLT which is not a PB and it absorbed everything and didn’t continue to wobble

I should also note that those videos were not going over any drain depressions. All solid paved roads just taking a turn down a different street.

** edit here** the first video is, in fact, going over a slight drain depression (didn’t realize this when originally posted) the second video is same neighborhood just turning into a different street.

I test drove a 24 PowerBoost that didn't have the off-road package and it acted just like yours. Made me glad I ordered the off-road package. Your video reminds me of how a vehicle handles when the sway bar is not connected.

That seems very excessive. Bad shock(s) maybe? The standard shocks aren’t great, but shouldn’t be that bad on new truck. Or something in the suspension did not get tightened at the assembly plant?

Could be a bad shock/strut, but you also don't hear any banging/thumping/creaking. Slide under your truck and see if you see any fluid leaking from your shocks/struts. It does seem out of the ordinary.

It's impossible to say anything about this without seeing your steering inputs, the suspension movement, and the road surface. You might be driving funny or the road could have waves. There are often drainage cuts in roads especially when transitioning from one street to another. You might have a loose rear suspension. You could have oversized tires that are low on air.

Try taking a video showing your steering wheel and the road. Or maybe let a friend film it from outside the truck.

Hello

In the first video it appears to me you are going across a drain or road depression at an angle which is 'rocking' your truck....

That said, I'd go to a suspension place and ask them to check your shock absorbers....

I think I can see what you're saying but its really tough to tell on a video unfortunately.

This is my first pickup and there are certain times I'm shocked at the rocking it does. I wanna say on a speed bump at an angle it really throws me for a ride. I assume the leaf springs and solid rear axle. Like the truck just keeps shaking several back and forths.
