I have an intermittent rattle in my driver's side door. I think it could be speaker wire. Is it easy to get behind the speaker and does the cover just pop off? I don't want to damage anything by just going for it.

The whole door panel comes off -- grilles aren't removable unless you take the door panel off.

Chances are it's coming from the plastic pillar covers. Here's how to fix it. I did this fix on mine and it's been rattle free for two years now.

That they do. Just six 7mm bolts and it pops right off.

Now getting the door card to sit flush to the door after removing is a bit of a pain. You might have to pop the panel loose a few times until you figure out what order to press the plastic lock pins back in so it will sit correctly before bolting it back down. Otherwise there will be a gap between the door card panel and door...
