Has anyone used their PB to power their trailer while driving? I want to keep AC running in my trailer while driving. I am guessing one has to run a shoreline cord from trailer to PB in truck bed with enough slack to handle turns. I am having a difficult time envisioning how to secure it. I don't think it can be adapted for the 7-wire plug somehow.

Thoughts?

Check out this video from TFL Truck. Not exactly a trailer, but charging a EV car while towing it. So nothing technically preventing you from doing it. Like you said, securing the cable would be the issue.

7 wire plug is low voltage DC. You want AC. Can't use it.

How to secure? Zip ties!!!

Thanks Dave and Jeff. I am not buying my trailer until I have my truck: ordered early August with ETA early Dec. (knock on wood, get down on my knees and beg). I will look to buy a trailer with this connection in mind. Zip ties are the bees knees!

Check out the towing section. There are a couple posts there for users that have done this.
