I posted in another thread on SOC settings, but in case it helps anybody else... I wanted to post my journey to finally getting OTA updates.

I hadn't been getting OTA updates except just one for the audio system in about 1.5 years of ownership. I got ForScan soon after my truck purchase and found I had an IPMA code U3000:49 that would not clear and there was a SSM on it (SSM # 49684). I took it to the dealer because I have a Ford ESP but they wouldn't do any updates due to a low SOC (30%) and told me I needed a new battery. Because they wanted a ridiculous amount for labor and the battery itself ($350), I ran to Costco and bought an H8 battery ($200). I replaced the battery myself in the dealer's parking lot (took about 3 minutes.... Not a half hour of dealer-priced labor) and reset the BMS. The dealer updated the IPMA which fixed the persistent U3000:49 code. About a month later I was having Android Auto connectivity problems and found TSB 25-2048 which lists a bunch of modules that are supposed to be updated. Again, because I have the Ford ESP I took it to the dealer. But after that update process in TSB 25-2048 the final check by the dealer showed my CMR was not responding, so they replaced it (Part # ML3Z-3G590-D) and then the dealer completed the updates in the TSB. I drove my truck daily, at that time about 2 hours / 60 miles total each day, and my truck sits in my driveway connected to my home Wi-Fi the rest of the time, always on a tender if I'm not going to be driving it for a several days. I never once got an OTA update... I suspected that it was just because the dealer had updated everything in the previous visits, but @rugedraw was still able to check VIN's then, and he said I still had some updates. About a week ago I was reading a thread on the blue screen / failed third brake light cameras in this forum. I had also experienced a failure of that camera and had replaced it myself with a genuine OEM camera, but I hadn't calibrated it. I went out and, using ForScan performed the LIN module initialization, and then the "Rear Camera Calibration", then the "Lane Centering Calibration" in that order. Everything went smoothly and now I have the centering lines in both the rear back up camera and the third brake light camera.

Lastly, about three days ago I changed the SOC setting in ForScan (Easy Method) to 90%, and suddenly, over the the next two days, I have received two OTA updates, one for the APIM on the first day, and one for the PCM on the second day. I can only conclude that changing the SOC did something to now make the truck meet some kind of pre-condition requirement for updates, and perhaps ensuring I had absolutely zero DTC codes in ForScan also helped. Hope this helps others.

I've done all of this stuff, wondering if because mine is running 24127/1270. mine is not far enough behind like others and Ford is addressing them first? Frustrating!

Did you ever go to the feedback and click wireless updates not working or the minor hold down reset? Any feedback on what you have been doing ? You are having good results.

I did nothing but wait. It corrected itself after several failed attempts. The next two updates after the 6 failed ones worked fine.

I have had 3 or 4 in the last couple of weeks. I wonder if they are trying to get my truck updated enough to send that rear camera fix.

Spreadsheet updated to reflect no-name GWM OTA recorded on a 2023 F150. Seems to have replaced an existing file in one location with the same file:
