You are now on the most latest SYNC version. Even @rugedraw doesn’t have this. Good to see you get so much accomplished. VCM 3 made this whole process so much faster.

I would agree that the process moved pretty quickly.
I didn’t remember until after my post that the TCU received 2 updated. The last TCU was done with a USB drive. After that update is when the final APIM update showed up.

I think it’s the truck uploading its local as-built data to the Motorcraftservice server.

Does anyone know how soon the Ford Sync update page usually takes to reflect updates done with FDRS?
I just noticed that my Sync page now only says Sync version 4 without any other information.

Quick question about this update failing. 6.7.0

What is the verdict right now about it failing................. do we just have to deal with it right now or is there a fix the does not include a mongoose.

I have mine on a tender and have disconnected the battery for 20 min and still fail.

Yeah sucks.

Mine has failed like 4 times. I was going to try and reset the sync system but was hoping someone who knows more than me would chime in before I do that.

Is just luck of the draw or did anyone else get battery warnings again. It’s been 2 years since I upgraded battery and SOC, no issues. 2 weeks after OTA 6.7.0 battery issues returned.

This update has been giving many people problems to install, and when it fails, it is not due to the battery but a server side issue.

Mine installed. Then started having the old battery issue. I upgraded to H 7 changed state of charge 2 years ago. No problems until this update installed. I was camping so this week need to go back on and check settings or is it 2 years that kills the H7?
