I have a bench seat with work surface. I was able to take mine apart and jam something in the sensor to make it not work, at all.

I got the attached Ford repair procedure to access the "Front Center Seat Work Surface Switch"...two docs one with the parts break down and the other is the procedure (so you can get it out without breaking it)

Have a friend with a 2023 Lariat (did a bunch of updates and Forscan-ing for him) with the power tailgate that he parks in his garage. Twice now he has gone into the garage and punched the garage door opener button on the wall... to discover that his tailgate is down and the garage door is scraping the tailgate as it goes up. He thinks the button on the wifes fob is getting pressed... so he wants to turn that button off on both the fobs.

I told him he could switch the tailgate from power to manual and prevent the opening but he likes being able to open the tailgate with the button on the dash.

So I was looking through the BCM spreadsheet.... It wasn't obvious how to disable just the tailgate button on the FOB. Anyone tried something like this? Any other suggestions?

Please help me out. I cant find anywhere in the spreadsheet where the TPMS threshold is for low psi. My 2021 XLT has had the warning lit up since it got cold out with all 4 tires at 35psi

Look into the BCM body control module section. "Tire pressure Placard" the value is in hex, you'll have to convert for the pressure you want.

Do you have HDPP truck? 35psi isn't low enough to trigger factory setting unless you have HDPP truck.

So 1F would be 31 psi, convert your current numbers for front and rear first, then convert your new psi value to hex

No, no HDPP. I don’t understand it, they’re all reading 35psi, but all but the rear right is giving a warning

Sticker on the door says 41psi front and year. And I’ve had this truck for 2.5 years now and never had a problem. I also don’t understand why one would be warning and another would not if they’re both at 35psi

Might be a rounding error - the pressure might be 35.5 PSI but displaying as 35 PSI, etc.

Sounds like you're an HDPP truck, does it have LT tires listed as the size? Pic?

That's why it's alerting as you're supposed to run 41psi which sounds like an HDPP or an LT tire equipped truck.

LT tire package right there in the optional equipment. Looks like you need more air in those tires! I agree on the rounding speculation. That one tire is probably 34.5 and just below the threshold.
