Some people hate that the headlights automatically go back into auto mode. This doesn’t. Leaves them where you had them. So if you had them off, they will be off on your next ignition cycle.
Ahhh. The headlamp switch remember position mod. Got it. One of the first Forscan mods I did and I didn’t even recognize it from that description

Edit: Figured it out myself

So I haven't messed with Forscan since shortly after getting truck last year.
Friday I finally added some of the 22 deletes that I have been sitting on for a year including the digital knob HVAC controls. I cleared the many DTCs that showed up after the swap. But for some reason it will not let me write my original AsBuilt file to the HVAC module. Just sits at 0%. I have tried to reset HVAC and APIM which says that worked. Also I have an error with the VDM module, says can't read DTC for that and fails on a reset of that module as well. Am I doing something wrong?

I want to find a way to keep drive mode from going back to standard after restarting.
I drive in sport mode alot.
One of the drive mode setting for sport is it changes my 4x4 into 4h. While the drive mode defaults back when starting it keeps it in 4h.

This hasn't been found yet, and personally I don't think it's a setting you can enable due to EPA regs. For the EPA rating to count, it has to be in the default drive mode on startup. Also why AAS has to come on with every startup.

You have a Plat, so you mean 4A, right? My Lariat goes into 4A with Sport.

I know this probably has been covered a million times but I dont want to search hundreds of pages looking. I went from the stock 20" tires to 275/65R20 Nitto Recon Grapplers and I need to adjust my speedo. I have a 2021 F150 Lariat with the digital dash. Is this https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15994 the best way to still do this, or is there something different now? Thank for any help with this

In livinitup's forscan spreadsheet there's a link on the common changes page to a calculator and instructions on what to edit, I used those recently and it worked great.

I read over that link and it seems pretty complicated, but I'm not that smart also lmao

No worries, your values should be:

Set BCM line 726-15-01 to the following: xxxx xxxx 0Axx
Set BCM line 726-15-02 to the following: 45xx xxxx xxxx

According to the tire size you posted earlier of 275/65/20R

Thanks Dan!! I will sling those values in there this weekend. Will I also need to do a reset or relearn on certain modules?

No problem! The sheet says you'll want to run a "Module initialization/Relearn vehicle data" on the PCM (and TCM if available).

I was getting this as well when working on a 22 Expedition using the latest version of Forscan. I went back to my older version of it and it wrote just fine, so something is up with this new version.
