Just wanted to drop a big thank you to everyone in this thread for providing such great info and guidance!

I am a tech lover but was hesitant to mess with my new truck, especially since it's my first ever new vehicle, but with all the info provided here it really gave me confidence to try. I have not touched any AS BUILT data at all to accomplish things, just backed up all those modules before beginning. I've only done the "easy" mode with no changing of hex/code values.

So far, I've done:

• Bambi Mode
• Silent Mode - with Sync 4 toggle
• Global Windows - with Sync 4 toggle
• Double beep key reminder disable
• Courtesy wipe timer increase
• Tap to signal increase number of flashes
• Increase number of "custom cards" in the display from 5 to 10

I am pretty excited that it's all gone well. The global windows one was a bit tricky to track down across all the modules in easy mode, but I got there. I'm especially looking forward to Silent Mode for camping! With the switch for that in the Sync 4 display it'll be infinitely more usable than having to swap the Forscan data.

Anywhoo, thanks again! This forum also helped me swap out my bumper wiring harness to support the Customer Placed Camera and TPMS kit for my travel trailer, so I'm feeling pretty great about how this whole rig has come together... other than someone smashed into both the truck at trailer while it was parked in my drive when only 16 days old lol. But insurance and repairs are all done so it's clear sailing ahead.

Why am I getting this when trying to write the APMI module ?

I got that too. So the next day I reset the ran a new profile (didn't load older one), backed up and then reset APIM, SCCM, and IPMA with OFF/ON in between. Then was able to write to APIM in my case to add Window control to Vehicle Settings menu and Oil Life and Silent Mode to my 2023 XLT 302A PB Screw with BAP. Hope this helps.

That is, while in Generator Mode I want dash and sync displays to go dark (yes I can turn-off the sync display and driving/headlights, and dim dash) but I want all to go off and stay off when in Silent Mode with Generator ON and key in my sleeping bad with me Currently, courtesy lights go off and I understand I may need to turn OFF headlights manually, but shouldn't the sync and dash go dark?

I suspect I am missing a code change, maybe BCM 726-25-02 third Quad, second digit should be 1 as in xxxx xxxx x1--?

And maybe IPC 720-09-02 should be currently XX0X XX-- should be toggled to XX4X XX--?

Anyway, if you can dig up your spreadsheet and advise it may save me a bunch of cycling bits Thanks for your help.

Ah sorry bit if a misunderstanding there I think. I also have my dash lit up when in silent mode. I get no interior/courtesy lights, flashes when locking/unlocking etc but Silent Mode doesn’t turn off my gauge cluster or sync display either.

Perhaps I also missed a setting? I didn’t actually know what to expect out of silent mode other than hoping I wouldn’t get the welcome lights and flashing when locking and unlocking.

Hi I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding but I’ve been trying to add heated and cooled seat icons to climate bar above for when you hit the physical button so it shows up top but it doesn’t work. I got the heated steering wheel to work though. It only works if you put the climate bar on bottom of screen. The spreadsheet says it adds it to climate bar above or is that just a typo or maybe I’m doing something wrong. I entered it exactly how the spread sheet had it.

I've used Excel Find on the latest FORScan spreadsheet and search of this thread to no avail ....

Is there a way in FORScan to adjust the algorithm in the BCM relating to battery management, specifically to account for a change from OE H6 battery characteristics to H8 battery characteristics?

My truck is a 2022MY 3.5EB delivered with a Motorcraft BAGM-48H6-760 battery, its typical characteristics being

70 Ah​

760 CCA​

950 CA​

120 RC​

Apparently some 3.5EB are delivered with the Motorcraft H7 battery BAGM-94RH7-800, its typical characterisitcs being

80 Ah​

800 CCA​

1000 CA​

140 RC​

The Motorcraft H8 BAGM-49H8 fits in my truck, its typical characteristics are

95Ah​

850 CCA​

1000 CA​

160 RC​

The goal is to optimize battery management with the H8 battery.

Making a WAG based on search of the spreadsheet, perhaps a particular hex value at this address?

Is there a forscan adjustment to extend the accessory on time longer than 10-15 minutes? I saw on other forums for the Tremor there is (I think F350).

I tried pushing the radio button to extend but that never works.

Hi everybody. I was looking for some assistance before I break down and take my truck in for service. I had made the modifications to enable the unreal theme as well as having the climate show on the bottom of the screen. I received an over-the-air update In May and since that time my built-in navigation stopped working and SiriusXM has stopped working, the phone selection screen is very jumbled. Additionally the speed recognition cruise control is no longer working. There is a DTC on the IPMA.

To try and fix the problem, I have tried to reset all of the modules which temporarily cleared the DTC. However, after some time it returned. I have also tried restoring my APIM from the backup I made prior to making changes. Nothing that I do seems to fix the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had something similar happen when I first got my new 2023 in April after several updates. I just unhooked the battery and left it sit for a couple hours and then hooked back up and all was fixed.

You can hit the radio button itself, not the start button, and get longer run time than you get with full accessory mode.

"Radio without ignition switch" in APIM should be enabled.
You can increase the time for longer than 30 minutes on setting right below that if you think your battery can handle it.

Haven't tested increasing time but I have used the radio button to just listen to radio. It will drain battery because a lot of other things are powered on with radio, the DSP and subwoofer if you have B&O for example.

If you were sitting with full accessory on using start button and it times out then you can't use the radio only option until after truck has been started up.
