31' travel trailer here as well so plenty of front mass for it to "see". As I said...it did NOT act like the active park assist which is very slow. It would have definitely slammed into the hitch if I would not have intervened.

I tied again tonight. They system doesn’t like being on angles to the trailer. The trailer I had access to needs to be at a 45* angle. I thought the speeds were ok overall. That last 12” could be a little slower, but worked fine. The system worked 1 out of 5 tries and absolutely NAILED it. Perfect as perfect can be.

The other 4 attempts, the truck would preposition too far to one side so during the last step it couldn’t cut the wheel far enough. I honestly believe it didn’t like being on such an angle.

Overall very happy

Messed with Forscan last night.
  • Added option to touchscreen to turn off auto door locks.
  • Auto start/stop disable
  • Double honk exit when running disable
  • Headlamp switch retaining last setting
Lot of the settings on the sheet are on the touchscreen menu, is that not the case with all trims?

I'm supposed to have glare free baked in with a Canadian build so have to double check if it's on. I'll do that this week.
DRL with taillights are on all the time with no setting change.

Is there a setting to leave 12v plug enabled and disable the 120v plug when engine not running?
I would rather not run power hungry inverter just to keep 12v plug on.

I may just be misunderstanding the setting on sheet for "Power Point."

Hello, I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I was wondering if it was possible to have the DRL's always on when the engine is on, even when the transmission is in park?
Thanks

Can't find details about my XLT 302A. I have the LED auto high beams but can't tell if Glare Free menu will do anything for me in Forscan. I don't believe these headlights move as I turn.

If you turn the headlamp switch to the parking lamp mode the DRL C-bars will stay illuminated, but you also get the amber bar lit up and taillights lit up when you do that.

I think the different DRL options simply control what comes on when the switch is in auto and the truck is in gear so I don’t think those will get you what you’re after.

Your truck doesn't have the correct headlights for this, unfortunately.

You need these headlights

I posted this in the FDRS thread also, but it’s probably better suited for this thread. Quick question, sorry if this isn’t the best forum but it’s one that somewhat related to Forscan. I just went over 36,000 miles on my truck and noticed the led light bar above the headlight has turned yellow. Well, Ford wants 2k for a new headlight and I’m not going to do that. I know you can disable DRL during the day, but those LED’s come back on when the headlights are turned on. Does anyone know of a way to completely turn off the LED lights around the headlights? Even when the headlamps are on. 2021 XLT, 302A. Thanks in advance
Low tech fix, unplug it?

Hi sorry if this has been answered before and may be a dumb question... But following the spreadsheet for 21+ and it says to ignore where the "x" are, but what about where the hyphens are "-" ? If I put hyphens in there Forscan complains about a syntax error. Thanks!

A hyphen should be treated like an “x”. Just ignore whatever is there. Those are the check sum values and will automatically recalculate when making forscan changes

You should already have the temps on the corners since yours is a 22?

There was some discussion about activating turn signal position cameras. Where the position of the turn signals brings up the camera. Is this discussion in this thread or somewhere else?

Also there was a forscan discussion on how to add additional driving modes.

I swear I once read each and every conversation here once.
I just can't remember if they were discussed her

Its here and there. Once enabled with Forscan, there will be new setting in your infotainment. I don't recall where (been awhile) But they were tied in with the trailer. The little "I" button said they would only work when connected to a trailer. I couldn't get them to work even after connecting to a trailer.
