My service visit was pathetic, they had it for 4 days, and didn't fix anything I brought it in for, paperwork lists "Unable to perform work" several times. It's going to be 8 hours of driving involved now to visit a different dealer.
Typical Ford dealership experience. They CAN fix things but choose not to more times than not.

Could someone explain what the expected behavior is after making the "Enable Cameras at Any Speed" changes in Forscan? It didn't seem to change anything in my truck - '23 PB XLT 302A w/360, chmsl delete, max tow

It would change nothing for you. You had the capability from the start.

The actual values might have been different, but that's because your base configuration of hardware might be different than what is shown in the detailed config sheets.

Ah… thanks. I thought it would give me access to some other cameras at speed or something. I really had no idea.

2021 Job 1 (06/2021 build) F150 Powerboost King Ranch. I have all of my chips, etc as well as Active Park Assist and 360 Cameras. I did all of the following this evening with success:

Glare Free
Double Horn Honk
Bambi Mode
Digital Temps
Running Board Delay (not sure this did anything or is needed as there are 2 delay options in Sync...25 seconds or 5 minutes)
DRL Full Brightness

I also tried the Pro Trailer Hitch assist earlier this evening. It went through the steps just as described but when I held the button down it was backing up WAY TOO FAST as someone else had mentioned. I believe there would have been damage done if I had not slammed on the brakes. I tried this 3 or 4 times from different distances but had no luck. It was not acting anything like it does when the Active Park Assist is being used. So I backed those changes out and will just hitch up the old fashioned way.

My understanding is it's ford's fix for the gate opening unexpectedly
Glad I came across this, I thought I was going insane…my truck was in the shop for 5 months from an accident and when I got it back I thought something was wrong with the tailgate cause I kept having to press it twice lol

I was playing around with the different camera views. There are some VERY handy views in trailer mode. Any way to get these to show up when you press the camera button above the display?

I love, love, love the split side view. Why cant this view turn on when we use a turn signal?!?! Its almost more useful than the side mirrors!

I had some time on my hands waiting to pickup my kids, So I took a stab at the trailer assist. I was surprised to find the APIM and the IPMA already set. I only had to set the ABS.

I dont have access to a trailer at the moment, so I went to a Farm and Fleet to use on of theirs. It seemed like everything worked? It brought the truck up to about 4 feet and then stopped. The screen said something like this was a last min checkpoint, did I want to check anything or continue. Then an employee told me to leave so I didn't get any farther.

FYI, My truck was delivered 4.15.22

Sorry, I do not know what hardware is required for this option to work. I have a 702a package on my truck with almost every option, I figured I would turn this feature on to see if it worked. The main reason I got this truck was for towing a travel trailer. I'm getting my trailer later today and I'm going to test it to make it 100% works.
Just tested the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist feature on the truck. It works, but man I don't like how fast it backs up towards the trailer. Had to hit the brakes or I think it would have hit the trailer.

I just tested my truck today and same thing. Way to fast backing towards the trailer. Had to hit the brakes.

What kind of trailer was it? I know from Fords source material that all rear sensors are used for this all to work.

I could see the truck not really seeing a small utility or landscaping trailer. The little I got to try mine, it did not backup fast at all. However I was using an enclosed trailer. Lots of surface area for the sensors to see.

I may have access to a trailer tomorrow (Friday)

My trailer I tried it with is a 22' travel trailer. So, don't think it was the trailer.

31' travel trailer here as well so plenty of front mass for it to "see". As I said...it did NOT act like the active park assist which is very slow. It would have definitely slammed into the hitch if I would not have intervened.

I posted this in the FDRS thread also, but it’s probably better suited for this thread. Quick question, sorry if this isn’t the best forum but it’s one that somewhat related to Forscan. I just went over 36,000 miles on my truck and noticed the led light bar above the headlight has turned yellow. Well, Ford wants 2k for a new headlight and I’m not going to do that. I know you can disable DRL during the day, but those LED’s come back on when the headlights are turned on. Does anyone know of a way to completely turn off the LED lights around the headlights? Even when the headlamps are on. 2021 XLT, 302A. Thanks in advance
