Question for the group:
1. Enabled Glare Free (love it)
2. Turned off double honk
3. Enabled 75th Anniversary screen (did not load Unreal)

Issue: Don't subscribe to Nav, but the map would always populate if I changed to that screen. Now Nav won't populate the map. Not a huge deal, but noticed it. Anyone else run into this?

I've been trying to enable Glare Free on my Lariat 502a. Every time I do the changes in FORScan, I get the dreaded "Check Headlight System" in the cluster and DTC Code: U2101 - Control Module Configuration Incompatible. I've carefully entered the changes a few times but always revert back to as-built. With the error, the lights function as auto high beam (not glare free) and they also do not turn with the steering wheel. I'll figure it out eventually, I hope.

From my understanding you need multiple changes all at once for glare free. Never had to mess with it myself with my Canadian import having it on by default.

You have to change everything listed for it to enable, some have reported having to toggle the setting off and back on on the touchscreen for.it to take as well

It's an easy one to get wrong.
I needed a second set of eyes to get mine working. I think it was Antho that spotted my error.
But once it's right, the DTCs go away and the function is exactly what it's described to be.

It seems terrible for about the first three days, once you do some actual open road driving at night you'll wish you had it on every vehicle

Glare Free when it is working is sweet.

Lot of trees in my neighborhood and I'm over 19mph so I see the full effect going in and out in the dark.

The error in in the HCM module, based on you saying you carefully checked the values, I suspect you are using the wrong check code for your truck config. If you post a screenshot of your HCM as-built values, I would be happy to help get it sorted.

Mine has it on by default also (??) but it really only seems to make the high beams go on and off. I don’t find that it takes on any of the other characteristics of Glare Free that I’ve seen others benefit from.

Slow brighten and dim, half dim for cars, etc. I'm a fan.

Cruising through fog last weekend on I44 with blue cruise and glare free was a spectacle to behold, it was almost like having a personal light show with it fighting to see ahead and not blind the right lane and oncoming

If you are seeing that from your perspective, the oncoming traffic and cars ahead of you are experiencing what glarefree offers.

It has to be ideal conditions (dark and low ambient lighting) for you to see the pie splicing going on. Once you see it, you can't un-see it.
