The adaptive learning in the 10r80 is bs. Transmissions should know everything they need to know from day one. First tsb plus rebuild at 30k, 2nd done at a little over 50k, complete unit replacement at 55k, transfer case replaced at 58k. Truck is still at the dealership experiencing damaging harsh shifting destroying the rest of the power train. Give customers a trans choice back.???

Your 2020 does not get OTA's like a gen 14. The TCM tuning is not the same.

I'm just letting you guys know that have the newer models that Ford hasn't figured out how to fix the 10r80. If they had all of rebuilds, replacement, and software updates would have fixed mine. Try putting your truck in 4 low and driving it.

Late 13th gen trucks are all pieces of shit, I wouldn’t even buy one for any price. The engines were all garbage in that gen and the 10R80 was not figured out. Sorry but you got a bad year, 18-20 trucks aren’t worth the aluminum the body panels are stamped out of. Everyone I know who owned an 18-20 with the 3.5 or 5.0 would never buy another which is sad because Ford really got both motors right in 2021!

While it is technically the wrong forum for the 2020 F150, the 10r80 has been in F150's since 2017.
And, I'm more than willing to give a man some space when he needs to get the rant out of his system.

However, there's no news in the rant.
Some percentage of the 10r80's absolutely puke their guts out and this forum is already well aware.
