Except FSD doesn't make a truck more functional or useful. FSD certainly doesn't help the Cybertruck frame from breaking in half, though the Cybertruck definitely needs all the help it can get in that regard. FSD is a big selling point for these vehicles, and I guess it needs to be since the...
'22 PB, around 83k km. I've had so many problems with this shit box that my children are on a first name basis with the mechanics at my local dealership.
I'm having this work done right now. Interestingly, I got the "temporary" fix last year and a few months after that I was told by the dealership that the temporary fix was in fact the permanent one. Found out today they have the permanent fix ready now. ?♂️
I have a 2022 as well. The OEM centre console tray is supposed to sort of clip into both ends of the console. Once its clipped in on both ends it still slides but friction is applied so it won't slide as you're making turns.
Replaced the brake and turn signal LEDs I got from F150LEDs once again. All other LEDs I've purchased from them have been great and they are wonderful people to work with, but these brake and turn signal LEDs are terrible quality.
+1. That's a great point. Would using 4wd make a difference controlling the vehicle and trailer on a decline? Interested to see what those more experience have to say on this!
I believe the OEM nav can take trailer size into account when setting routes. However, I've found the OEM maps that are provided by HERE are outdated at best in a straight inaccurate at worse so I did not renew.
I don't think looking for the clutch will ever stop. I haven't had a standard in nearly 15 years but I still catch myself futzing with the shifter like its a manual.
I think the only way you can have that is if you have a regular cab with 8' box, 4x2, 5.0L engine, and both the max trailer tow and HDPP and absolutely no extras or options at all. How well does the truck ride for you?
Echoing what was said above. Upgrade to a H7 battery at least. If you have any electronics running on battery power rather than ACC (perhaps a dashcam) that'll drain the H6 pretty quickly.
