I tried to search for apps on my phone to work with Android auto on my 22 hybrid. I now find the apps settings grayed out. I used a app that connected my roon music server to my phone and it had a icon on my android auto. I deleted it a while ago and not need to add it again.
Android apps via USB is selectable. Will that get me what I need?

Also how can I remove tge current version of android auto off my phone. I need to roll back the version.

I absolutely detest having to use Android Auto for navigation and Sirius XM Radio. First, the XM part is delivered by cell phone service, versus being received directly off a satellite. Driving through an area with poor cellular coverage results in it not working. Then there is the problem of Android Auto losing wireless connection with the truck. You have to pull over, shut the truck off and restart it in order to reconnect the phone and truck. In short, it is a royal pain in the azz. I am still fighting with the dealership and Ford over my second crummy Ford battery going down overnight. The battery is only about a year old! This is probably my last Ford vehicle.

You can connect your sirius account to your truck. And you just need to press the AA button in apps to get it back on.
