Prices Increase?

I looked after getting an email today from Ford telling me to get a Ford, and clicking on the link in the email.
Looks like my Lariat configuration went up by $1,075 (MSRP).
Anybody else seeing this? Any official announcement from Ford?

My attorney asked me the same thing, why did I charge him $25 more per hour than last year for hvac services. Because you rose my hourly billable rate, I raised yours in kind. We are all passing the buck! Ford too lol.

Is "my Lariat configuration"

1. a truck you already have (in which case, congrats!)
2. a truck you've ordered (in which case it should be price protected)
3. or a truck you hope to own but haven't actually acted to get?

Price increases are inevitable for whatever reason(s); they can hit at any time; you pay for delay.

new steal / aluminium tariff i think went into effect today... now up to 50% increase on those items along with imported parts is 25%...

Must be the ford midyear price Increase. Both blue colors are now a $395 option, destination charges up $200.

Yep, $1100 more on the 302A XLT 157" I've ordered on the build & price. No idea how that translates to my cost at delivery. Hope Employee Pricing isn't the ultimate bait-n-switch. Of course they've already gotten another $1400 out of me for 20" wheels by putting 18's on a production hold through mid-Q3 at best.

Looks like bed utility package on Lariat and up is 200.00 spraying in bed liner is 200.00 more . sure i missed some going thru the builder .

I built the same truck I have on order (Lariat 502a) and it is $1700 more now. Hopefully my invoiced price from back in March wont change.

I am seeing the spray in bedliner only being $30 more. $595 to $625.

Ford and I guess other auto manufactures divide the building year into 2 timelines, Order #1 and Order #2. So last year when I ordered my KR in late April while in order #1 timeframe, the dealership gave me a price quote for the cost of the truck at the time of ordering, which locked in the price. I was told the truck would be built in the order #2 timeframe. When the order #2 timeframe began in June, the price of the same truck went up roughly $700.00 from order #1 to order #2 timeline.

You also have to keep an eye out for options changes from one timeline to the next, because sometimes they will remove or add an option, like they did to me by removing the Smart Hitch/Bed Scale as an included option for the KR. When I went to pick up the truck they stuck to the price quote, and I was able to talk them into subtracting the option price for the Smart Hitch/Bed Scale that was an included option when I ordered.

Yes !
I did a re configure of my XL, RCSB, 4x4 that was delivered on Saturday. Antimatter Blue is now a $ 395 option, and the destination cost went from $ 1995 to 2195. That's a $595 price increase on the lowest base model. I'm sure the upper grade models have increases as well.

Pricing has increased.
