How much will the price go up on Job 2 orders with the Pro Access Tailgate (PAT)?

do you think the prices will go up on the vehicles that have the pro access tailgate as a standard feature with Job 2 order banks?
My WAG is yes.

It obviously adds to production cost, IMO it'd be a bit of a slap to Job 1 buyers if they pay the same as Job 2 buyers but didn't get it. The $ difference might be somewhat obscured by mid-year price increases affecting other trims.

I agree. Job 2 builds have always been priced higher than job 1 in every other model so I don’t see why the F150 is any different. Look at the Bronco or Maverick. They both go up in price for job 2 (I’m sure the Expedition, Explorer, and etc. do too but I just don’t follow them).

Another common trend is that Ford always raises the prices on stuff they can’t build. Both the Bronco and Maverick have continued to have price increases yet Ford can’t seem to build any in a timely manner. The 2024 F150 seems to be going down that same path.

I think that orders made after Job 2 starts will likely see increases. However, if you already ordered a truck during Job 1 and it gets scheduled after Job 2 starts (not scheduled before and built after) your price should still be fixed even though you get the tailgate. I doubt that is many people though unless you froze your order with the 99 Priority code.

Does anyone know how much the price went up with job 2 orders that have PAT?

A Platinum 703A on Rapid Red, with a retractable tonneau cover and a spray in bed went from $87,785 to $88,095, so $310 more.

My truck reorder went up a bit over $2K. Of course, that's because I had to add all of the stuff that became available with Job 2 (Bed Utility Package, Bed Divider and Max-Recline Seats). Thanx Ford for for "making" me spend more $$$ ;)

And the only new feature is the Pro Access tailgate in the new quote?

On my King Ranch build, it went up almost $1000 from Job 1 to Job 2 including adding back the onboard scales for $650. Remember, on the higher trims, the tailgate isn't the only change from Job 1 to Job 2.

From Job 1 to Job 2 order guides the Bed Utility package went from $1,350 to $1,620 (on the Lariat... not sure about other trims) so a $270 increase

That seems consistent with the thread link above now saying there is a delete for the tailgate which will save $270 on MSRP

Unclear what happens to Job 1 folks who arent getting one.

Ordered through Granger was changed to job 2 not paying any increases but will get all the benefits.

Like getting to wait longer for the PAT? Is that considered a benefit?

Nope. You can opt for the delete if you need your truck ASAP… I don’t agree with how things are being handled but yeah..

I do not mind waiting, I have other vehicles ?‍♂
