Congrats! Those halogen license plate lights need to be the first mod you do. The LED does not produce the heat that the halogen produce and makes your trucks lights look even.

Unless it has changed over the years, people showed the halogen lights somewhat melting the housing. Good luck!

bed was sprayed (locally but that’s another story). They do not do the tailgate because of the “work surface”.
they did put a sticker on my window without permission. It comes off today.

Can I ask what they charge for a liner (sprayed)? I just got a quote of $600.

doing a Bak roll up cover, liner, flaps and wheel well liners in a few days.

Spray in was 595, whether I did it on the line or here locally.
Dealer tried talking me into local supplier for the cover, but theirs rolled up over the bed and would end up covering part of the back window. Went for the tracks and retractable. Regretting not just biting the bullet and doing the automatic retractable, but feared it would end up being a failure point.
Asked for the door rocker panels, but dealer "forgot" to order them, so I added them to the contract at pickup and they'll install next week. wondering if I should have done liners, will likely add mud flaps and tint the front two windows as well, but it's a journey and after waiting so long I'm just glad it's finally here!

In 2022 (I believe) Ford switched from an LED license plate light to this old style halogen. At this time there were many threads about the change and how the harsh yellow light of the halogen clashed with the neutral LED (white) light of the rest of the truck. People started changing them right out.

In some of the threads people showed pictures of the housing melting after a short period of time with the halogens. I haven't heard much of this recently so I thought maybe Ford switched back but that picture with the new 2024 glaring those yellow halogens made me think I was wrong about Ford going back to the LED's.

Easy cheap swap but if you read through this post, you will see what some others have done.

I got confirmation that my truck is in at Granger. I called Ford Marketing and received a $2,000 PCO. Better than nothing!
