Battery upgrade.

I up graded from H6 to H7 changed state of charge. Well H6 went 1 year H7 went 2 years before getting deep sleep issues. I checked and soon as I start truck it’s charging at 14.5 volts. My guess is that 8 miles a day is not enough no matter what you change on these trucks. Put on charger 4 hours from 49% SOC to 100%. We shall see how it holds.

Does you "as built" data match the H7 battery? My 21 had an H6 installed by the dealer one year after the truck was built and the "as built" was set to H7? I recently replaced the H6 with and H7.

Yes. All that was changed when installed. Along with SOC increased.

I went with the odyssey extreme agm and it's clear of all issues since. I see they even have Bluetooth connect battery to give usage and health reports to your cell. of course that came out after I got mine!

Well even if you did wait there is only one battery that is connect enabled the ODX-ACE31. It's a group 31 and it will not fit any of the sizes needed for the f150.

Been 2 years. Just got a OTA it started. Charged to 100% 2 hours latter 74%. I am going to charge over night reset BMS. See what happens. I also have a new BMS sensor to install. There was a post of some faulty BMS sensors

That's very rough duty any way you cut it, not enough charging miles / time to fully recover from the starting hit, the deficit from each day just keeps piling up.

Even worse if that 8 miles/day is two 4-mile legs with two starts per day.

Yes, but in reality you should follow the instructions to reset the BMS and I would also make sure the "as built data" reflects the new battery. At minimum, reset the BMS.

Get this one from Wally World and be done with it...I got it ~6 months or so ago. No issues.

Just FYI, there's nothing in the "as built data" that reflects a new battery installation or a BMS reset. None of the module parameter values contain that data, encoded or otherwise.
