Technology can be a Bit** I deal with it every single day….patience is a virtue

This is just a guess, but I suspect it would not hurt a thing if you didn’t do the requisite BMS reset right away. Remember, the system is trying to optimize battery life and the use of electrical energy. So I’m guessing it wouldn’t hurt a thing to delay doing the reset a bit.The question remains for me 'What if I have to do a battery change in an emergency" and I can't just let it sleep for 8 hours- can I still drive the truck safely? Or will certain systems like the electric steering or anti-lock brakes still operate? Now I'm not so sure, can someone ease my mind?
