Time for me to fly up to Michigan in two days(Wed) and play with Red Rocket!


If everything works out, I'll stay up there until Aug 28th for their Customer Appreciation Track Day...then drive back home to Louisiana.

But in order for that to happen, I have to borrow some 18" or 20" Drag slicks from somewhere, because I'm positive my 2wd Powerboost isn't gonna hook with 1,000hp(est) on stock Hankooks.....
...shipping my Hoosier DR2's up there isn't happening..

The 10R80 is generally rated to handle up to about 700 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Safe bet @Tank is going to be juuuuuust a little bit over that.

Once built by the right guys these things can easily handle 900-1000 HP and close to the same in torque all day long.

True...but with the 10R80, the last two numbers are it's torque rating in Newton Meters.

80 = 800nm.....which equals 590ftlb of torque.
