I've noticed theres this Firehose settings section on 3.1. Is it worth us turn that on and submitting data back to SP to improve the model for our trucks?

Correct, just the base. Although if your slider wasn't printed with the hooks in the vertical orientation you will want to reprint it as well.

Our fork is not on the whitelist, so it will never actually transmit the data.

Anyone who wants to do the 3D printing, be advised that the mirror mount with screw design is very, very tight to slide in and out; it is impossible unless you sand the grips or the base all together. The AjzRide design is perfect, it slides in and out.

This one is perfect:

This one needs sanding/tune-up, unfortunately.

I suspect it has to do with print orientation causing variances, because microbiom just took my files and added the mirror mount onto to the side of it.

ASA and ABS shrink more than PLA, so a filament calibration is a good idea. I do hand sand all of the grooves on the ones I make and ship to ensure they are snug with no wiggle, but don't get stuck.

tried different approaches but it is very tight at the groove for the screw in mirror mount. If he can loosen the slide in groove a little it should do the trick.

I took a Dremel to the leading edge of both pieces to round off the corners to make getting it started easier as I found I had to line it up perfectly to get it started.

Has anyone been able to stop the start up alerts? I just received mine today and it seems to have alerts pop up for the first 5-10 seconds on every start up

I was over in the comma.ai discord, and a guy told me the can bus is encrypted on the 24-25 models

is this true? Or am I able to get this going on my 2025 XLT?

I’ve had comma systems in 3 different Honda vehicles I had, loved it!

2024+ ICE are encrypted. Lightning still works.
