Well good deal or not, I don’t think I’m a buyer for JUST a programmer. I’d need a 50 state legal CAI for 24s as well (which does not currently exist AFAIK). Then I’d add a cat back.

I think a CIA+programmer+cat back would be a fun package to add. Would any objective performance increase be worth the cost? Probably not but the subjective enjoyment might.

I agree with you. It is way easier to get more power out of turbocharged engines with small tweaks. So the EB tune was probably a best case scenario for this type of product.

Then again, we are also speculating on price, too.
Exactly... The FP tune for the 2.7 gives you 30HP, I think. Stillen has a tuner out that gives you almost 100 and a lot of that is at 3000 rpm. For 650.00 it's crazy and I want to try it but honestly, the truck is plenty fast stock and I'm too cheap to run premium gas all the time for a daily driver. Still tempting...

Larry, a sense of humor goes a loooooong way, lol
Most people would say I have a pretty good one, but the internet is not a good place to convey sarcasm.

Given the way people throw around money on stuff here, I did not interpret his remarks to be sarcastic at all.

So we don’t know cost or potential gains, this speculation is fun.

Even $1000 for 50 hp would be a bargain. Going to spend at least $10k for a Supercharger and be lucky to get 500 hp so in terms of HP per dollar, tune seems like a great value.

Aside from the power gains, I would love to get rid of the CD system, and just cruise around in D with all cylinders running

I would reference the Livernois tune gains on 93 as the ceiling for what the FP tune could offer.
Assume they are the usual, erring on the side of caution.

That said, even with the Livenrois tune, it's not like I was floored with the power increase, noticeable, but not blown away.

The transmission sequential shifting is much better and CD being gone made me happy.

The most notable improvement was when I installed a throttle controller on the 5.0.
