Does anyone know how to communicate with Tasca? I have sent three emails, a phone call (the answering machine says they don’t take calls any more) and attempted live chat, all to no avail. I need to exchange this bad SCCM, but absolutely no response from any of my efforts. I’ve ordered before from them, but it was probably five years ago. I never expected them to be so unresponsive. Anyone got an inside line? I need a RMA.

I had a similar experience with them a few years ago. That was the last time I ever ordered from them. See if you can dispute the charge with your credit card company as @HammaMan mentioned.

If you manage to get the dispute done with your CC company try Sunrise Ford in SoCal. I buy everything from them now. If it’s not in stock they order and get it out the door in a couple days. There is a big Ford warehouse in SoCal.

So a PL3Z3F791HB will add the heated steering plug on my 2023 Powerboost with power telescoping column? That’s much cheaper than the defective part I’ve gotten from Tasca.

I have an XLT with the 360 cameras. I only needed a wiring harness from a fellow forum member, the heated steering wheel and the SCCM with the heated option. Those along with the Forscan changes are all that you need for the heated steering wheel.

Which SCCM did you need? I have a 23 XLT with adaptive cruise, rain sense wipers and can't seem to find a straight answer on whether I can use just a clockspring or need the whole SCCM? TIA!

I just did the hardware swap on my 23 302a xlt. You will need the whole sccm, not just a clockspring. There are no pins on the back of the xlts sccm for the power. Even if you already have the power wires like mine did. PL3Z3F791HB should be the right part number. You can swap the turn signal stalk/power column switch between sccms.

Well, on Friday Tasca came through. I finally got an email, but it said I couldn’t return it because it had been installed already and therefore would have to be warrentied instead of returned. That would mean a 4 to 10 week wait for the manufacturer to verify the part is bad! I wrote back explaining the whole scenario and how I’d emailed them prior to installation, how it came to me out of its package and missing the grenade pin and how I could not tell if it were bad without installing it. I appealed for them to do the right thing and, if necessary, get a supervisor. I got back a very conciliatory email authorizing prepaid return and immediate shipment of a new SCCM. Mistakes are made, but in my book it’s how mistakes are handled that prove the character of the company. Tasca passes. Next week I should be all fixed.

Have you received the PL3Z-3f791-AB yet? And can you confirm that it is the correct part? Its hard to find info on this exact part number (no actual pictures online as of yet).

I'm just about to pull the trigger for my XLT and its hard to believe that the $64 PL3Z-3f791-AB is the same as the >$200 ML3Z-3F791-BB that was mentioned earlier in the thread.

How much did you pay?

This one does have the power steering column switch which I don't need.

Mine does have power column which yours has. Mine was over $200 at discount! I don’t see any difference.

Only other thing I can think of does your have standard wipers or sensing wipers? Which one can order my version for 70, and you can switch the stalks,
