The world of spending as much as a vehicle cost to "make it fast" is one I just don't get.

To each their own...

Some of us actually take our trucks to the track and race them. We do drag and drives. We have the spare resources to make it happen, so we do. I worked hard all my life to get to this point and now am able to enjoy what I love, Drag Racing, at a track, not on the street. Like any other hobby, there is a cost to play-

That's the compressor wheel --- about 50% larger than what's in your truck.

I'm aware what that is (FWIW, my toy car turbo is larger than that), I was being specific on the compressor's fins.

No doubt. A truck is a piss poor starting point for any type of on track racing though. Anything can be made fast with enough money.

I don't think you've paid attention to what these little RCSBs are doing. 4WD plus their weight distribution is hard to beat. The F150s are in a league of their own.

The capability isn't really limited to them alone, it's just they're the most popular. They're not much lighter than the larger cabs, they're just popular due to their smaller footprint and lightning-esque appeal.

I don't do it anymore, but after 10 years of doing it, it definitely changes how you look at the world.

Believe me, no one will accuse me of not doing what I want, I just don't want to do that. As I have stated multiple times in this thread.

I do not understand throwing money at trying to prove my trucks dick is bigger. It has no appeal to me, nor make any logical sense. That's all I'm saying.

You enjoy it? Have at it. Don't get wrestling? Cool. Just don't fight a wrestler. It won't end well for you.

They can make more than that for even more $.
I got the PB to avoid doing just that. Still have enough $ into this truck as it is, but at least it's done in a way that doesn't risk a rod going through the block or parts of a piston into a turbine. It slaps the shit out of joe dirt nascar wannabe trucks and the typical coal rollers on 24s and that's goodnuff fer me.

For balls to the wall stuff you have to out-run the motorolas and a truck ain't gonna do that. The cobra and vette will though

As you said, $$ fixes everything - there is a point of return though. A 10-11 sec street truck is more than enough for most, unless you're racing for money or fame.

That said, my tuned PB is perfect for me, right now.
