I run Shell 93 and put a bottle of techron fuel system cleaner through it every oil change and mine will still idle rough. It also doesn't do it all the time. I don't have misfires according to mode 6.

I'd put an eye on the engine mounts and make sure they are bolted up correctly.Just an update,
Ford has looked at the truck and said they can’t do anything about it unless it throws a code / CEL.
Sounds like I’m stuck dealing with this weird rough idle issue…
That’s actually quite a smart idea checking for assembly issues.. I will do some looking around.I'd put an eye on the engine mounts and make sure they are bolted up correctly.
Then just try to make sure no hoses or vacuum lines are disconnected or look weird.
Since it is a new truck and no CELs, I'd look for an assembly error.
Well I have a 24 5.0 and at idle I cant tell if its running its so smooth. Might be something run off the belt or a bad serpentine belt maybePicked up a 2024 XLT October 2024 - right from the very next day after I bought it, I noticed a vibration at idle. It’s a very consistent tempo - if the dots were vibrations it would look something like … 1 2 3 … 1 2 3 … 1 2 3 … (approx 3 seconds between vibrations consistently)
I have a mag safe phone mount and I can notice the vibration in my phone screen when secured to the mount, the reflection when the screen is off shakes and distorts the in line with the vibration
My wife mentioned she could feel a slight vibration in her feet while we were parked waiting for a train to clear the road - I had never mentioned this issue to her!
Booked the truck in with the Ford Dealership and after watching my truck not move all day on the FordPass app, they called and said they couldn’t replicate the issue and did not find anything wrong.
Hoping someone can shed some light on this issue, thanks in advance
What a joke!!!I'd put an eye on the engine mounts and make sure they are bolted up correctly.

Might ne the cylinder deactivation?I think my 24' 5.0 with 1700mi on it idles like shit lol, I can feel it nice and smooth at times, then I can feel what feels like small light single cyl misfires mixed in with some shimmys and whatever else at times. I use very good gas so its not that.
Cylinder deactivation doesn't kick in at idle.Might ne the cylinder deactivation?
Curious if anyone knows why CD doesn't kick in at idle? especially once the engine is warmed up it seems like that would be a prime time to do it.Yeah the inconsistency is
Cylinder deactivation doesn't kick in at idle.
same here, so whatever the problem is they didn't fix it for '25.I think my 24' 5.0 with 1700mi on it idles like shit lol, I can feel it nice and smooth at times, then I can feel what feels like small light single cyl misfires mixed in with some shimmys and whatever else at times.
