Good news!! We are officially supported by Comma. Now if we need to file a warranty claim we can drive on official OpenPilot to provide routes to Comma.

I know it doesn't work on the 2024 due to TRON, but would you know why the 2021 F150 isn't listed? Same for the 2024 Mach E? I know you have one of those from the other forum.

I assume there's a small difference and Comma Team haven't tested those exact years?

It's just a typo. It will get fixed.

I just pulled my coma 3x after it started throwing a bunch of communication and harness errors, but haven't yet pulled the harness... will I need to get logs / routes to file a claim on the harness?

Asking because I don't want to pull the harness if I need to power the comma back up to start a warranty claim on harness

yea, you'll need to install stock openpilot on the device and get a route with the harness error. What is your setup?

example Harness Under Dash --> harness box under dash --> Amazon USB-C --> Device on windshield

It is more likely to be a bad USB cable than the harness.

I also have your slide mount... I guess that means I should try bypassing the slide mount to ID which USB.


It worked great for two days of long driving, on the days preceding the failure, then one morning it wouldn't run; it just kept flickering between the screen that appears when the vehicle is off, and the video, with occasional error messages visible if the flicker timing allowed me to see them

Seems to have been a loose connection.

I tested bypassing the dock as suggested, and it worked fine; re-connected the dock, and it still worked!

The short cable between the dock and the comma gets a lot of wear and tear, I've replaced mine a few times (but I also pull my device 10-20 times per day when I'm doing a lot of testing)

Not entirely. The C3X does not record when parked, and it only holds about 4 hours of video.

I haven't seen options to record in bluepilot... how do you activate recording?
