PM @rugedraw and ask him what his thoughts are. He is on vacation and could be a while before he answers you.

@rugedraw already prepared a detailed discussion in a separate thread about what to do. I directed @Bills916 to that discussion above. No need to bother him on his vacation.

If it showed a Sync version before and none now, the obviously something happened. The thing is, this is not something anyone can check remotely. The truck won't sync up with the servers for me to see anything until a network scan with FDRS is done. A simple APIM reset will not suffice. Try pulling the negative battery cable for 20 minutes to force a hard reset if the entire module network to see if that causes a Sync version to show there and hopefully you see Sync 21146.

What did you eat today @rugedraw ?
Was it cooked?
Do you know for sure what the ingredients are?

If you aren't eating risky, at least a little bit, I'm disappointed. ?

Question:

Since this thread has grown to about 1k pages, is the beginning still correct and up to date with any new info? I ask because I'm about to start working on my '23 Platinum, to update everything it's missing and ideally get the latest BlueCruise working on it (take advantage of the 3 free yrs I got).

I have the power supply, FORScan and the mongoose. Anything I should be doing in preparation for the weekend? I plan to backup everything in FORScan first. Just in case.

My goal is to get everything done without having to bother the exerts, on here. My experience has been that everyone here is extremely helpful but I want to let them enjoy THEIR weekend as well.

Any tips/suggestions appreciated.

I personally believe post #1 is still valid enough to warrant the banner I posted a couple of years ago to make the point...

A few new tidbits, if I’ve kept track correctly:

ACM and PSCM won’t come off the list of things needing updated after you run them, but it doesn’t hurt if you rerun them.

BCM needs special dealer login none of us have.

IPMA updates but make sure you use your seatbelt when driving or your bluecruise and lane keeping will be janky.

And I’d use your power supply/charger to charge the battery up fully before starting the updates. (I.e. give the battery a running head start mentality). Obviously then use it in PS mode during the updates.

A 2 day subscription for FDRS. Don't try updating with ForScan. A 64GB USB stick formatted to ExFat. If you have a few, brand name, USB sticks because for some reason some don't work in the truck even though they formatted correctly. I always format the USB after every update that uses it. Most members are on the forum over the weekend, so don't be afraid to post any questions or problems. Screen shots of the problem is a bonus. There is a list of what order modules should be updated. I will try and find mine and PM it to you.

Do you know what updates your truck has in FDRS?

Good Luck

Turn off all your computer power saving options so it doesn't go to sleep during a long update.
