Whats the difference from *2 glare free high beams and *3 adaptive driving beams?

Cause on the common spread sheet it tells you to do *3 (720-10-01)
Not sure, I thought there's a difference between 8" and 12". Green is auto high beam. White = matrix operation

Hey Guys, Did this last round of updates to the latest APIM 24127 - 1270 and now Glare Free headlight icon went away from the cluster, anyone have this happen? Any ideas?
Here are my setting and nothing changed from prior the update.

Okay so mine is green and I did all the changes a while ago…. But mine still goes bright and dim in the direction of the cars only on one side of the road. But I have to be going so fast for the light to get bright and when I slow down they go dim. So that being said if I change mine to a 2 will it give me a different effect?

I deleted my notes, I'm pretty sure the "2" value is strictly for the 8".

This is the 'mainstream' adaptive headlight install spreadsheet.

That’s so crazy tho. Cause when I first done the changes I almost put the 2 in cause that’s what I wanted for my truck but I was new new to FORScan and didn’t wanna mess things up so I stuck with the chart lol. But maybe someone can clarify that up

If you have a platinum, you have a 12" IPC and 3 'should' work. Value 2 is for 8" IPC trucks. If you have a white A in your cluster and your matrix headlights work as they should, you're fine. His is a retrofit.

I think this value is strictly for indication and doesn't affect light functionality. Been a minute since I played with this.

Gotcha. yeah mine works like it’s supposed to, I was just reading the attached link you sent and was able to understand the 2/3 a little more! But still not sure what the difference is on the as built part when you look at all the numbers.

I have a Green “A” since day one when I did the changes. I also have a platinum which has a 12” IPC and also I did all my updates last weekend and mine never messed up so not sure what’s happening with yours.

My Adaptive Headlights do everything that has ever been described as Glarefree functions. I have no DTCs either. Kicks in at just over 30 mph. 32?

Admittedly I had to have help from @antho ,if I'm not mistaken, but once he sorted my Asbuilt for a 157" W/CCD-scales, I have green headlight icons for Glarefree.

It's a KingRanch trim, in case that matters.

These are the settings I had before and after the update.
The Green "A" was there before and now it comes on for a second and disappears
